© Roger Shah The very latest from the balearic HQ of Roger Shah as he has a February lock down while he puts the finishing touches to his third Sunlounger album. He has a brand new collaboration with the colourful Judge Jules on the way and a little something for those of you wanting to chill out...

The brand new Sunlounger album from Roger Shah is almost done, or at least it should be by the end of this month as he's virtually locked himself away in the studio to make sure it is. Good news for Roger Shah fans all round. He will be back on the road in March though doing a tour of America and popping in for Armin's 'A State of Trance' 450 celebrations at the beginning of April in New York. The Sunlounger Albums – Downtempo Special Edition Out Now

Fans of chill have a double reason to celebrate this month. The two acclaimed chillout discs from Roger’s Sunlounger albums have been compiled into one downtempo special edition. The repackaged release comprises of all the favourites from the ‘Another Day On The Terrace’ & ‘Sunny Tales’ LPs.which includes ‘White Sand’, ‘In & Out’, ‘Crawling’, Catwalk’, ‘Change Your Mind’ & 2008’s ASOT Single of the Year, ‘Lost’. You first preparatory move for summer is ready to be made right now! Sunlounger – The Special Downtempo Edition is available now from the Magic Island Shop. Don’t leave for a beach without it.

Roger Shah & Signum - ‘Healesville Sanctuary’

Lifted from the tracklist of Volume 2 of Roger’s Magic Island – Music For Balearic People compilation, ‘Healesville Sanctuary’ is the place where (according to DJ Mag) “the halcyon Balearic tones of Roger Shah square up to the voracious synths of Signum”. The magazine (who gave it 4/5 in their Feb issue) goes on to say that it “doesn’t short-change on the washing pads and Celtic-sounding choirs” and that “Signum’s version goes all out to ravage the peak-time floors”. Heh, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves! Heating up Healesville even further is the single's video, which has just gone online. Picking up an not unimpressive 55,000 views in its first few days online on the Armada site, it is now also now showing on Roger's Magic IslandTV channel too.

Hold On! Roger Shah Meets Judge Jules

Featuring the halcyon vocals of Amanda Angelic, Roger’s first production studio ‘meet-up’ with Judge Jules has just been released. Like a warm weather front moving in from the Balearics (albeit and unseasonably early one!), the trio’s ‘Hold On’ track has quickly caught a hold of dancefloors and is likely to be still working its magic in the run up to summer. You can add ‘Hold On’ to your esteemed mp3 collection now via the Armada website and all good digital download sellers.

With the deadline delivery date looming, Roger has cleared the board of gigs this month and will be spending the month of Feb putting in place the finishing touches to his 3rd Sunlounger album. He is also hard on the hunt for the tracks that will go to make up the 3rd installment of the Magic Island compilation.
