 The Solaris International radio show hosted by Solarstone & Robbie Nelson is just about to notch up to number 200. For the very special anniversary edition they are having a listener takeover. Time for you to get involved...
The last six years has really flown by for the Solaris International radio show which will be entering into its 200th edition this time next week. Hosted by a true electronic architect icon Solarstone and his partner in crime Robbie Nelson the show has come a long way since its early conception and is now a two hour extravaganza of everything trance, tech, progressive and everything in-between. Broadcast at over 40 FM & Internet radio stations each and every Tuesday the guys thought they would rustle up something a bit special for the 200th edition, which will be broadcast next Tuesday on the 9th March.
What have they panned for episode 200 you may wonder then? Well, its not so much what have they got planned, but what have YOU got planned? For one show only they are handing over the controls right over to you. It's a true listener takeover only minus the handcuffs and gaffer tape. The guys want you to e-mail the Solaris studio with your suggestions for tracks, remixes, bootlegs and everything musical to put into Solaris200. It could be a record you have heard on the show, one you may have heard on the radio or indeed an old classic you feel needs dusting off and put back into the needle groove. The whole show will be constructed by the requests that you send into them, they only have your suggestions to pick from!
GET INVOLVED & SEN IN YOUR REQUESTS
You've no time to waste as it's only eight days until the 200th edition goes live on air so send your request in, naming the artist, track title and mix of the track you want them to play to: info@solarisinternational.org .
The 200th edition will be broadcast on the 9th March exclusively through Solaris International at 6PM GMT (7PM CET or 1AM EST). You can catch replays of the show throught the week though on Passion Radio ILR network in the UK and on stations including Techno FM, Mix FM Switch FM, Pulzar FM & Overdrive Underground and if you miss that, the show will be available to download through good old iTunes.
All you need to now, is send in the tracks you want to hear, I've done mine.
