Do you know any Techno-Events that are 19 years old? Well, there aren't many! With Styles developing and changing throughout the last two decades, some events disappeared forever while others are born - some events reappear from time to time, many are held once only. Only the best events are staying for a long time, keeping the tradition of old styles like Techno, Trance and House and bring them together with new ones like Hardstyle and congeners.



For some it is the mixture of styles, that makes Mayday so attractive to its visitors, for others it is the unique Westfalen-Hall in Dortmund itself, where light and laser-installation in the Arena can be mirrored and spread over, beside and into the crowd like in no other venue, but there is one attribute all of the visitors of Mayday are sharing: The open-mindedness: Trance-Enthusiasts are dreaming themselves away with the new friends from the Hardcore-Area to the sounds of Armin van Buuren, Minimalists visit the Hardcore and Hardstyle Factory to jump with the crowd to Outblasts speaker-wrecking tracks...

And that is what is meant by "You make my day": It is the one love all of you have in common: Electronic Music. And you make yourself and others happy by sharing that love.
