 It's not one that should worry your health by any means as BK & Anne Savage have only an audio pandemic in mind with their latest studio collaboration. Two kings of Hard Dance together in the studio can only have a positive outcome...
Whether it is Hard House or Hard Dance, BK and Anne Savage have been pioneers of the harder style of dance music since the late nineties. BK is one of the biggest producers on the scene and over the years unloaded a huge arsenal of fast pumping beats to the electronic masses. They have both had very successful solo productions to their name and engaged in a few collaborations along the way to but for 'Pandemic' they have gone full circle and crafted together a jointly collaborated collection of hard dance flavour tracks. This is not your straight forward collection of hard dance beats though.
It's a journey through tracks that draw influence from other styles of music, not just dance. Each track has its own identity about it and has been created with an inspiring sound behind it. A good example in there is 'Sweet Sensation' which flips up an energetic filled hard dance additive to the old classic by Shades Of Rhythm, which first saw the light of day back in 1991. The rich musical history of both is a great weapon to look back on when hunting for inspiration for a new track, as Anne's old rock band days with her slipping in a few vocals for 'Space Invader' and 'Rock The Underground'.
The album looks to be a real mixture of old flavours poured into a hard dance pot and injected with a good slice of rave. The eager ear will recognise a few of the classic piano riffs that pump through a few of the tracks on this one. The pair will have been chucking in a few of these new cuts in their recent sets I'm sure. It looks to be an album that any hard dance enthusiast should not be without.
