With the release of John Askew's 'Rediscovered' album we thought it would be a good idea to chuck up a copy for one you to get your hands. All you have to do is answer a very simple question...
John Askew has a lot to answer for when it comes to music pollution. He's been responsible for some of the most sickeningly tasty trance over the years and his productions have certainly damaged one or two loudspeakers in clubs across the globe. We can forgive him for his crimes with records like 'Chime', 'Bad Apple' and 'Nail Gun', just to name a few of his past audio bombs he's dropped with great success. His last artist album was a superb one with many tracks from 'Z List Uber Star' littering the playlists of top DJ's around the world circle. His follow up is not so much a fresh artist gathering but a mix up of his epic productions from some of the globes biggest electronic stars.
This list of talents, established and upcoming who have put together a mix for his latest album is pure delight of explosive and energetic faces. He has the likes of Activa, Sean Tyas, Simon Patterson, Thomas Datt, Gate42, Gary Maguire and Adam Foley on duty to pump new life into his old classic works. It's an album you should not be without and if you have not got it yet, we can change that as the nice folk over at Discover have thrown us a copy to give away. All you have to do is answer this:
:: What was the name of John's debut artist album?
You should not need any hints to answer that one! The usual i:Vibes rules apply, please make sure you mail in your entry by the 5th May to competition@ivibes.nu and please include your full postal address and contact details. Stay tuned for a review on this monster in the next week, which should wet your appetite for yet another essential piece of Askew. Get entering and good luck!
