We have some very exciting news coming your way with a brand new double disc compilation from trance legend M.I.K.E. New York is the inspiration for this city inspired mix by one of the biggest trance artists on the planet...
You can always tell a M.I.K.E. production apart from the rest when you hear one. He's got his own distinctive style of sound that he uses across his many different alter egos’ with the ones you may best know him by being Push and Plastic Boy. Last year he brought Push back into the spotlight with a brand new artist album and spent the last part of 2009 embarking on a world tour spreading the sound around sound systems the world over. This year, its all about the M.I.K.E. sound and coming up on the release radar is a two disc compilation brimmed to the rafters with it.
It's all about the sound of New York's trance scene which M.I.K.E. is looking to deliver across with this compilation, one which he knows a far bit about having played over there in all the major clubs. If anyone can capture a sound of city then M.I.K.E. has the minerals and talent to. He has penned a brand new track 'New York City Nights' especially for the album with the vocal work of Francis Hill providing the sound bite to a tasty looking track. Another nice surprise if an update of 'Intruder', a record he produced with Armin van Buuren back in 2004, which has been remade for the release. Chuck in with those two a collaboration with one of the UK's hottest trance artists inn recent years Andy Moor and its starting to build a mouth-watering sound already.
The compilation will kick start a three month world tour for M.I.K.E. who will be delivering the sound of the release direct to dance floors across the globe. I'd expect a good selection of the tracks from the album to be pumped through the speakers and into the ear's to an euphoric effect as M.I.K.E.'s tracks were built to played loud. He has not released his tour dates just yet but I'm sure where ever you are in the world M.I.K.E. will be dropping by to spin you up into a frenzy.
The track list is under wraps at the moment but as soon as we have it we will let you know! Keep posted to as we will be getting the thought's of M.I.K.E. during May on his brand new compilation release with the full i:Vibes interview treatment!
RELEASE DATE: 7th June
