Who are Mr & Mrs Smith you may wonder? I'm sure the picture to your right will give away one half of the duo as it is Christopher Lawrence's side project with his very own wife, Sara his partner in crime. I bet you can think of many duo’s, triples and even quadruple electronic partnerships but how many of those are man and wife? Only one I can think of and that is Mr & Mrs Smith! It’s a teaming of one of the worlds biggest dance music icon’s and his very musically talented other half Sara. You might not know much about her as she works tirelessly behind the scenes for Christopher but she has a definite musical talent in her very own right.
Now then, what does one of the worlds biggest underground Trance artists dig out the musical vault when teaming up as Mr & Mrs Smith you may wonder? One word comes to mind, filth, and the good kind of course. The style is downright dirty electro house with outright filthy bass lines and beats. If you have yet to be served a slice of it then look no further as they have made available a live recording from a set at Judge Jules’ radio sessions IDMA (International Dance Music Awards) after party held Nikki Beach, Miami. The pair had been playing a few nights before to a rapturous reception earlier on during the conference and you’re in for a real treat with this mix.
