There is a world cup on this summer if you didn't know and I'm sure there may be many of you whose nation never made it to the finals. You can find some audio reconciliation with the brand new System F album due out this June. It's not just another collection of the greatest hits under what must be Ferry Corsten's most popular alias. It's a collection of remixes of System F's greatest records that have been submitted over the course of the past few months in a competition open to all producer, of any skill and pedigree. It must have been a huge task going through all that new music submitted for the album, but nevertheless the final eleven mixes have been chosen.
You may recognise a few names in there but on the whole, like me, most of the names in there will be new. I've not heard any of the new remixes so it will be interesting to see what the talents of Sergey Shabanov, North State, North State and Wass Hammoud have done to Ferry eternal classics. Ferry has had a hand at putting the final 'team' together with a new remix of 'Out Of The Blue', which he remixed a few years ago so it will be interesting to hear what direction he’s gone with the new mix. The album will be out in June and congratulations to all the winners, not only have they a mix featured on an official release by Ferry they also got some nifty prizes for their efforts.
