Artento Divini produces Pleasure Island 2010 anthem

© Be Yourself Music After jam packed editions held in the Spaarnwoude area, the annual Pleasure Island festival returns to Amsterdam on the 19th of June 2010 to legendary soil: the Java Eiland (Java Island) location.

With the return to Java Eiland, Pleasure Island is back on sacred grounds where this popular festival experienced its debut on the 23rd of July 2005. This year’s Pleasure Island edition, marking the festival’s fifth birthday, will be complimented with a mind-blowing festival worthy anthem named “Griffin”, produced by none the less than Artento Divini.

The relentlessly energetic producer/DJ Artento Divini, one of Pleasure Island’s 2010 main stage headliners, is by all means not new to the game. His more than often techno orientated trance productions currently have the highly acclaimed High Contrast Recordings imprint as their home base; Pleasure Island 2010 anthem Griffin will be - next to acknowledged Artento Divini releases such as Biding My Time, Deep Down and Who’s Next - Artento’s fourth installment on the High Contrast label.

Prior to undersigning the High Contrast recording contract, Artento Divini already made the necessary waves in the music industry due to his collaboration with label mate Jochen Miller under their Miller & Divini guise. Besides this collaboration, Artento released a variety of solo singles on prolific labels such as Reset Records and 2Play Records (Spinnin Records) and on Doorn Records, successfully run by Sander van Doorn.

Griffin won’t just be the official anthem of Pleasure Island in The Netherlands, the single also musically supports the Czech Republic edition held on the 24th of July 2010, where Artento will be amongst the festival headliners as well, marking his Czech Republic debut.

The majority of the world’s DJ elite already shows its undying support to Griffin, counting on plays from Marco V, Gareth Emery, Nic Chagall, Andy Moor, Jochen Miller, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, John O’Callaghan and many more. The reigning DJ on the planet, Armin van Buuren, honored Griffin with multiple plays during the holy grail of trance shows, his A State Of Trance radio show. In episode 457, Armin even crowned Griffin to be his Tune Of The Week.
