With his third artist album ‘Do You Dream?’ lighting up forums all over the world (and slam-dunking into the iTunes’s Top 10 last week), it's time for Markus Schulz to take his D.Y.D. music out of the studio… and into clubs...
To showcase this wealth of new material, he will be playing 3 very special extended sets in London, Budapest and Ibiza over the course of summer 2010.
This Friday, June 18th, he will kick off at The Gallery, Ministry of Sound playing a 7 hour set to celebrate the release of the CD. ‘Away’, ‘Lightwave’, ‘Not The Same’ and his remake of The Gallery anthem ‘Perception’ will be among the tracks making first contact with the CDJs. Friday will also have a special Coldharbour flavour to it and will also mark the start of the 3rd year of Markus’ residency there; a period over which he has made the jump into the super-leagues.
Then, on the 22nd, he hits Budapest, where he will be spin an exclusive-packed set; one that will be recorded and broadcast as the August’s GDJB World Tour date. The last Budapest gig was voted the most popular World Tour set of all time (thanks in no small part of the impromptu charity gig he played whilst in the city). Markus will again be pulling out every stop to ensure that lightning strikes twice in the Hungarian capital this year… As part of his 6 date Balearic summer residency, on the 10th of August Markus will take control of the decks and music at Armada’s Amnesia night…. for the whole night. Only the second DJ to carry an entire Amnesia night on his shoulders, Ibizan-adventurers can look forward to a truly epic 8 hour snaking, twisting journey through the foothills of progressive and deep trance up to its full-force uplifting heights.
London, Budapest, Ibiza - these will all not be nights to miss. Full details below…
