It’s Time To Return To The Magic Island...
Roger Shah’s 3rd compilation trip to the Magic Island is out now. Packed with a 100% new, exclusive, sun-splashed, hot-house Balearic-tipped dance music, it is ready to soundtrack whatever you do, and wherever you go over the next 3 months. To celebrate its release Armada sent out one of their writers to have a in-depth chat with Roger about the album itself and what he has in store for the rest of the year. 'Found' Is Released & The Video Hits The Web
‘Found’, the spiritual (and very real single!) sequel to Roger’s 2008 dancefloor-defining track ‘Lost’ is out now and available through the web shop. Again it features the haunting, enrapturing tones of the multitalented singer-songwriter Zara Taylor and comes fully loaded in the remix stakes with an incredible remix from Roger’s erstwhile partner Pedro del Mar. Proving very much the floor (and chart) smash its forerunner was, ‘Found’ is now accompanied by a stunning video companion... Roger Rocks Eurofest, Mexico City
Last month Roger headed south of the border, down Mexico-way for the spectacular 2010 edition of their Eurofest festival. Every minute of the event was captured on video and is online now at the Magic Island YouTube channel. You can see all the pre-gig preparation (done in that superbly laidback Mexican way!) and then watch Roger pump 5000+ white-clad amigos and amigas up into a frenzy in the way only he knows how! It’s like a feature length Roger Shah set piped to your desktop and in terms of June’s viewing, we think it’s pretty un-missible!
Roger Shah & Tenishia Ft Lorilee - Catch A Cloud
More follow-up goodness is a-foot in the Magic Island release schedule with Roger re-teaming with Malta’s Tenishia and vocalist Lorilee for ‘Catch A Cloud’. Steeped in float-away beauty, but with plenty of synth power for the peak-time play, it’s a workhorse all-rounder of a track.
