The perfect warm up for this Friday's opening Wonderland night hosted by the legendary Pete Tong has arrived with the official 2010 compilation...
It's only a week until the Ibiza season kicks off for the dance music icon that is Pete Tong when Wonderland invades Eden for yet another summer. He has been running the Wonderland event for a few years now having moved from his old Ibiza residency 'Pacha' over to Eden, which is recent years, has been upgraded to one of the best clubs on the Island. It's certainly one of the busiest with not just Pete's Wonderland night packing the club out, fellow Radio One chum Judge Jules sells out the club each week for his Judgement Sunday nights. Pete Tong is one of those guys who seems to have been around the scene forever and has been dropping your essential tunes each week through his Radio 1 show. ‘Wonderland’ looks set to be bigger than ever with Pete invited the crème de la crème of electronic talent to join him behind the decks.
The opening party gets started this Friday with Pete being joined by Bryan Ferry (You know, ‘More That This’) and house talent Steve Lawler with support from Rob Marmot, Alex Ellenger and Jo Mills. To get you in the mood for the opening party and a glimpse of the kind of tunes you are going to have rattled through your ear drums if you’re popping over to the island this year Pete has brought together a double mix compilation. Dropping in the biggest tunes from Pete’s box from the likes of Josh Wink, Cassius, Simian Mobile Disco, Sebastien Leger and Dennie Ferrer it should warm you up nicely for a night in ‘Wonderland’. Even if you’re not going over there it should put pleasure through the senses and re-create the atmosphere of what will be a very popular night in San Antonio.
