We take a deeper look into a track that has been embraced and played by the biggest trance artists on the scene in recent weeks and after an investigation we know why! These two young guns have created a real bomb...
Those of you who enjoy their trance driving and uplifting will really like this new release on Infrasonic Recordings. The UK based label has been picking fresh new talent from around not just the UK but worldwide for releases on its label and for this new single they have picked two very good ones. Pulstate and Juventa join up for this tasty collaboration and along with their original they have heavy duty back up from Jorn van Deyhoven and Yuri Kane. You may not have heard much from either of these two but both a very young, with Pulstate having had his first record deal when he was only 13. He’s a little older and wiser now but still at the age of 18 has a great passion for uplifting trance and for this new single he joined with the very young Juventa, who is just 15. Two very young heads but the result has come a very mature production that has been played and supported by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Tiesto and Above & Beyond!
:: Original Mix :: Jorn van Deyhoven Remix :: Yuri Kane Remix
The original mix is the every first taste of music from these two new producers but one that you can’t be anything but impressed with. This is full on driving trance music with plenty of uplifting qualities deep within it. From the opening beat it’s packing in a bursting jolt of energy that will lead to greater things further in the record. The mood for this is a dreamy one with keys dropping in early in the track putting the build for the main melody early. They build and build along with the beat and tone changes in the bass line to drum up the main break. The keys that hit in the break are worked into an explosive synth sounding melody which is layered over percussion and when the beat drops back your left with a seriously uplifting piece of trance.
With such an impressive original to play with you would expect nothing but quality from Jorn van Deyhoven, a producer who has shot himself up the music ladder after last year's breakthrough remix of RAM's Ramsterdam track. His remix here is just as impressive as the original tweaking the uplifting elements of it and putting in a deep tone to proceedings. The build up follows a similar vain but he's added punch to the beat and shuffles the percussion along, using nice bars to lead up to the break. His breakdown is a sweeping cinematic epic and drops in an chord to act as the melody with a thunderous beat roll to pop it into the track. It's just as uplifting, but in a different way with the chord he's dipped in here. The piano keys add a delicate touch toward the end of the remix as it breaks for a second time to lead out.
Yuri Kane takes things along a different route with his remix. He's taken a little bit of the pace out of the track and dropped along the progressive route hitting you with a deeply rough bass line and striking thump on the beat. The whole atmosphere created along with those elements if one of a chilled, oceanic blends of bass changes, using the dreamy keys to add a sense of mild euphoria to things. It's a relaxed approach to two uplifting remixes that just pound you with energy from the get go, this one delivers things in a more chilled out way.
Conclusion:
This is a very strong release and it’s not surprising that the likes as Above & Beyond like this as it’s up there with the style of Oliver Smith and Daniel Kandi. The original is a real epic, Jan's remix drives it at you from another angle and Yuri Kane drops a little relaxation into things. Super release!
