The home of Dutch sensation Menno De Jong has plenty of things on the go this summer, the first being their annual summer event, which they have just announced the line up for a few days ago. Lange will be there, fresh from his latest artist album 'Harmonic Motion' which touches down next week, as well as First State, Simon Patterson and Orjan Nilsen. They also have fresh news for the forthcoming edition of their in house compilation 'Intuition Sessions' which reaches volume two taking on the surroundings of Rio de Janeiro as inspiration. Menno will taking the reigns of the second edition himself and although no tracklist has been published yet you just know its going to have some top draw music on it. Intuition Summer Festival 2010 – The DJ Line Up

Give or take a couple of days, it is now just two months until Team Intuition set up camp at BLM9 for this year’s spectacular summer fest-a-thon! The 21st of August 2010 is the date and they’re now ready to unveil the line-up of spin artists you’re going to be seeing there. Headlining the beachside action will be UK trance star Lange & Irish maestro Simon Patterson. In his set Lange will be showcasing music from his new album ‘Harmonic Motion’ (out July 5th) and Patterson will be making sure the ballistics are being well and truly kicked with one of his trademark cross-the-trance-range, finger-on-the-pulse sets.

Also lining up to deliver the damage deck-side will be Mat Zo (who’s ’24 Hrs’ track is currently being hammered by near enough every DJ out there), Canada’s multitalented Arnej, deep specialist Boom Jinx, Dutch duo W&W, First State and seasoned Intuition regulars MuseArtic, Orjan Nilsen and Menno de Jong. Now if that's not a line-up to turn a reasonably warm day red hot, we don’t know what is!

Menno de Jong presents Intuition Sessions Vol.2 - Rio de Janeiro

Menno’s much-anticipated follow up to his first Intuition Sessions album is rapidly taking shape. This time around the album will shift is gaze from being country-specific to that of a city focus. Sporting a suitably hot-house blend of music from artists like Airbase, Orjan Nilsen, Shane Halcon, Ad Brown, Mat Zo, Maor Levi and Menno himself, Sessions Vol.2 - Rio de Janerio will capture Brazil's rocking heartland when it’s released this summer.

Vol.2 will naturally be supported by a range of specials album add-ons (or plug-ins, if you’re more technically minded!). There will be a special Intuition Sessions launch party followed by a full global tour as Menno takes this new crop of album music around the world and he’s also got a killer competition up his sleeve for you to participate in. Andrea Saenz & Robots Memory - London [Intuition Deep]

Columbian prog-trance propagators Andrea Saenz and Robots Memory are back in production action this month… ‘London’ (a prequel perhaps?!) to their ‘To Amsterdam’ scorcher from last year will be out on the 30th of June. If you like your trance stylishly produced and delivered in darker, deeper chunks, it’ll very likely be for you! It'll be available exclusively through Beatport, and while you’re around, don’t forget to add Intuition Deep to your favourite labels!

Strobophonia - High Roller [Stellar Sounds]

Marking Stellar Sounds’ huge return to the fray this month is Strobophonia with their ready-to-cause-floor-gridlock number ‘High Roller’. Alongside their critical-mass-inducing original is a more blissed-out melodic reinterpretation from the ever-dependable Maarten Hercules and a slightly tougher, more stripped back remake from Steve Brian.
