Andy Moor Takes On Trance Nation

It's very fair to say that the Ministry of Sound turned what was one of the biggest trance compilation series into nothing more than a cheese ridden compilation full of rubbish after they ditched Ferry Corsten and injected the series with vermin. I dont think I'm out of line saying that, just hear anything after the last one Ferry mixed and judge it for yourself. Now then, last year it was a pleasure to see the compilation return but, doubts where there on what they were going to do with it this time around. Those doubts were quickly eradicated with the news that Above & Beyond was to take control of the brand new double compilation. Trance Nation was back, and better than ever!

Good news then that they are bringing out the next edition at the end of next month and even better news they have gone to Andy Moor to get it mixed. Since he set upon build a reputation under his Andy moor name, you may remember him for his work as Tilt and part of the duo Leama & Moor, he has climbed up the DJ mag Top 100, with his current position 15, and even nominated for a Grammy for a remix he did for Delirium's 'Angelicus'. He has mastered the uplifting vocal trance element and stamped his own style on a vocal effect used to great success with 'The White Room' and his latest single 'She Moves' using the vocal talent of Carrie Skipper. You can find that single on the second disc of this compilation by the way if you have yet to hear it, shame on you if you haven’t!

Andy's collection of the very finest trance to offer may not be brimmed with exclusives but has an ear exploding number of the latest audio from the likes of The Thrillseekers, Super8 & Tab, Lange, DJ Eco, Yuri Kane, Rafaël Frost and Ben Gold. Some may moan, 'Most of these tracks are allready out' but put this on the high street shevle next to the clubland garbage kids buy today and it might just educate them what real trance music is all about.
