© Cream It would not be the Ibiza season without a compilation from Cream: who run one of the busiest and most popular nights over on the island at Amnesia. Eddie Halliwell is back on duty for the 2010 edition of Cream Ibiza...

If you’re over on the Island of Ibiza this summer and are wondering what to do with your Thursday evenings then wonder no more. The simple answer to your clubbing dilemma is to spend the evening at Cream's night in Amnesia which has been one of the longest running nights on the Island for many years now. Paul van Dyk and Tiesto used to play one after the other back in the early part of the last decade and in more recent years the night has took Eddie Halliwell, Sander van Doorn and welcomed dance music publication Mixmag to take over the Terrace within the club. It's a night not to be missed, but if you do and still want that Thursday feeling as if you were there then head over to the official compilation for your audio needs.

It's one that has become a summer mainstay turning to the residents they attract each year to put together a mix encapsulating the sound of Thursday at Cream Amnesia. Last year they had both Sander van Doorn and Eddie Halliwell at the controls for the compilation but this year they have let Eddie loose over both of them. Eddie is no stranger to putting together these albums as he did back in 2006 and 2007. Since then he has been touring with his ED-IT concept which takes the usually DJ set and tears it up in place of a chopped, edited mash of quality audio Eddie can find, produce and play around with. Creativity is one thing Eddie is not short of and behind the decks can come across absolutely bonkers with his live scratching he sometimes slips in.

The compilation for this year looks to put that format on the release and split it up to represent the two main features of the night. The first mix, behind a little more down tempo for the Terrace putting together a tasty selection of house, electro, melodic, tech together featuring the likes of Pryda, Steve Angello, Cirez D, Moguai and Mark Knight. The second disc looks to push up that tempo and goes towards a trance, techno and altogether more energetic style just like you would find in the main room at Amnesia. The second disc has the likes of Umek, Sander van Doorn. Skytech, Activa & Giuseppe Ottaviani, Ferry Corsten and Leon Boiler to help Eddie come up with a super smoking mix that will get you in the mood for a night in Amnesia.
