© Godkitchen It's nearly time for one of the UK's biggest electronic dance music festivals in the form of Global Gathering at the end of this month. Why not warm up with some festival anthems Godskitchen style...

It's regarded as one of the best festivals on the UK calendar by the worlds top electronic music stars as well as the thousands of clubbers that attend it each year. It is of course, Global Gathering hosted by Godskitchen which has been running for ten years this time around. Over those ten years its been running the festival keeps gaining in popularity with clubbers turning up in their thousands to party all weekend long on a disused airfield in Long Marston. I think its disused anyway, I don’t think Armin van Buuren would be to happy if a 747 came into land peak set. Every year though the warm up for the festivals begins early with a compilation featuring some of the records you will be hearing over the weekend by a stunning line up of electronic artists.

It’s very much all bases covered this year with every dance style catered for over the numerous arenas’ on show over the two days. The compilation reflects this wide style with a mixture of artists from Calvin Harris, Dizzee Rascal, Audio Bullys, Mo Oizo, Faithless, Afrojack, Tiesto right down to the Prodigy. The timeline for these classic span a few years back right up to the current day with a spread of records new and old over the three discs. It’s a trip down memory lane that’s for sure and with it dropping just a week before the festival gets underway the perfect soundtrack to get you in the mood. All you need to hope now is the weather keeps good, with this being the UK you never can be to sure.
