The worldwide clubbing behemoth that is the Ministry of Sound turns 18 years old this September and to celebrate Ferry Corsten is playing a very special four hour set at the legendary Gallery...
The world famous Ministry of Sound turns 19 years old in September which for a clubbing brand is getting on in this day of age. They have outlasted any other big names that have come and gone and are one of the biggest brand names in electronic dance music today with events, clubs, music and anything else beat related kicking off in all four corners of the globe. Yes they do release some rubbish but being involved in so many styles they do have a broad range of musical outlets form the more commercial projects down to the underground club scene.
It's that club scene that they celebrate the landmark with a big night at their Ministry of Sound club for the world famous 'The Gallery' night. Helping things go down with an explosive bang is Dutch trance legend Ferry Corsten who will be playing a very special four hour set on the 17th September. Joining him is Solarstone and Gallery resident The Viceroy to ensure the night is one not to forget. Kick starting Ministry of Sound’s 19th Birthday weekend with an almighty bang The Gallery is proud to welcome back one of its favourite djs, Dutch trance sensation FERRY CORSTEN.
Launching his brand new Once Upon a Night compilation, Ferry will be taking to the hallowed decks of the world famous Box for a very special extended four hour set. This year has seen Ferry continue to tour the globe as well as re-release easily one of the most impressive back catalogues in trance with his unique FC System F idea. Opening up all of his discography to anyone and everyone to remix Ferry then picked and released the very best entrants once again leading the way with supporting new talent and striking out into new ground with this concept.
Ferry continues to be one of those DJs that superlatives are in short supply for. An ever expanding and genre pushing production style and sound has seen Ferry supply anthem after anthem down the years consistently redefining and leading the trance sound whether it be through classics such as ‘Out of the Blue’ or tech fused trance bombs such as ‘Rock Ur Body Rock’
