Chances are you would not have heard of this promising young American talent know as Max Vangeli. Well, let us put that right with a little introduction and free bootleg remix he's done of ''Smack By Bitch Up...
Max Vangeli is one of the hottest breakthrough electronic artists of 2010. His production roster features remixes for heavyweights such as Steve Angello, Gorillaz, Erick Morillo and Switchfoot as well as original work signed with prestigious house music labels including Size and Refune. His music is played by Superstar DJs worldwide including Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto and David Guetta. No wonder he draws huge crowds at the world’s hottest party destinations like Ibiza, Miami, and London.
Born and raised in Eastern Europe, Max moved to San Francisco in his early teens. Heads turned in 2008 when Pete Tong recognized Max Vangeli's first single, "Crazed", which was immediately signed to Chris Lake's Rising Music label. In 2009, his remixes of Late Night Alumni – “Finally Found” and Steve Angello – “Monday” took top spots on Beatport’s Top 100 chart and achieved massive international club and radio support.
Max's popular partnership with AN21 thrived in 2010 as their collaborative remix to Ellie Goulding – “Starry Eyed” had the house music industry buzzing for months. Its success secured a spot on a special edition of 2010 BRIT Critics' Choice Award winner's debut album "Listen" that reached the #1 spot on the UK Billboard Top 100 Albums Chart. His next Size Records release, "Gama", was crowned "The Essential New Tune" by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and received widespread support from DJs including Steve Angello, Tiesto, David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Dirty South, and Mark Knight. Max's next single, "Swedish Beauty" was released on Sebastian Ingrosso's Refune. It took the electronic music world by storm, reaching far into top 100 charts. The track was recognized by numerous radio shows including Tiesto's Club LIfe and Pete Tong's Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1.
Presently, in addition to a summer of extensive North American and European touring, Max Vangeli is releasing three new remixes including the Gorillaz, Switchfoot and Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoenick as well as some special original work in the months to come.
