Nobody likes the daily rush hour but with Christopher Lawrence in charge of this one I think you might just able to hack it. He presents the very latest in underground trance with Jonathan Allyn as his guest this month...
We all know the daily rush hour is an essential hour of hell for quite a lot of the world's 9-5 commuting workforce but each month there is one that you should be itching to get involved with. Its international DJ and producer Christopher Lawrence’s Rush Hour radio show which showcases the very best in underground trance. For any electronic music fan who enjoys the underground sound and psy tinged flavours of trance this is an essential monthly stop. Hosted by an artist who has travelled the world, sold buckets loads of albums and is a true electronic dance music legend you won’t find any garbage spread over the two hours of driving new trance music. Each month he is joined by a fellow pier to present a very special guest mix and this month its one of his label’s brightest talents, Jonathan Allyn. He is an artist who has had a few releases for Christopher’s ‘Pharmacy Music’ label with underground thumpers like ‘Fracture / Ricochet’ and ‘Taking Sides / Overdrive’. Two EP’s you should really get your hands on.
He’s let loose for a whole hour this month with his very unique blend of trance, techno and progressive electronic music that’s an amphetamine to the ear drums. Before then Christopher has new tracks from Steve Birch, John "00" Fleming, Corona, Tazix & Allya and John Askew. It’s been a very busy few months for Christopher having just moved back to his home city of Los Angeles after spending a few years down under in Australia. In effect he has returned home to a country where he is regarded as one of the industry best, indeed he was voted so a few years back as America’s Best DJ.
