© W&WThe Willem & Ward chaps have mailed in with their September update for you all with news of their Mainstage Radio show moving to Sirius, their latest single 'Alpha' and flashback from their antics at this summer's many festivals...

The W&W chaps, known to their friends as Willem & Ward have had a busy summer as they continue to make waves on the trance scene with their fresh, forward thinking, energetic style of music. They have moved their radio show over to the massive Sirius network who will be hosting a 'State of Sunday', a new concept by Armin van Buuren for 24 hours of trance every Sunday including his 'A State of Trance' radio show. The W&W's radio broadcast has been recruited as part of the 24 hour trance-o-thon, which is no real surprise as Armin rates these guys very highly. There is more this month two with their new single, a firm favourite in the Beatport trance charts, and a look back to the festivals they have been popping up at over this summer.

The Mainstage Radio Show Takes A Sirius Leap

W&W’s radio show Mainstage has been picked up by the world’s biggest radio station as part of their new Armin van Buuren all-dayer, A State Of Sundays.

The show will now be transmitted on Sirius-XM Radio’s Electric Area channel, which goes out at 18:00 EDT (15:00 PDT, 0:00 CET) every Sunday. You can get all the details of all the shows by clicking this link which takes you to Electric Area's, er, area (!) and get all the must-not-miss info on A State Of Sundays on Sirius-XM here. Above all though you can relax in the knowledge that tuning in to Mainstage just got that much easier!

W&W ‘Alpha’ Out Now

Alpha - W&W’s latest floor-burst - was released on the 23rd of August and wasted no time in shooting straight into the Beatport top 10… And two weeks later its still there! Big bass, bigger strings, large drums and a Manila-like thriller of a finisher all make this one late-night, late-summer fist-pumping foot-bouncer you need to wrangle into your collection.

Trance Podium Top 50: A Sign Of Things To Come?

Over the course of the summer the oracle-like Trance Podium site were running their search for the biggest 50 DJs and on the 20th of August the results popped out. The as-expected run of Tiëstos, Armins & Schulzs locked their spots in the top 10 but it was Willem & Ward that delivered the poll’s big ‘gotcha!’ They made their debuting on the chart with a bullet going in at no.11. If you took the time to vote W&W want to say:
1) massive thanks! & 2) YOU know what time it is! Check out the full run-down here

2010 DJ Mag Top 100 – T-Minus 10 Days!

An overabundance of '0's & '1's in the headline there may be, but there's no escaping the fact that there's just 10 (there they are again!) days left to vote in on the poll to end all polls! The DJ Mag ballot completes on the 23rd of September, so if you’ve been taking (let’s say) the more leisurely path to making your mind up you’ve still got time! The voting page is just one click away and you’ve got five slots to fill in with the names of your favourite spin-master-generals. If W&W found their way into one of them, well the lads would be just made up about that!

Flashback To Festival Action

Willem & Ward have been letting Europe’s festivals know what’s-up over the course of summer 2010. Sunrise (where they won the Best Live Set award) and Tomorrowland were just two of them. If you were there: happy days! If you missed either of them, well, all is not quite lost. Some top-flight footage was captured and you can check it out on their YouTube channel. Clicking this link will speed you there in no time at all!
