Hot off the press is the latest news updated direct from Leon Bolier HQ with an update on his newly released artist album 'Phantasma', the forthcoming Amsterdam Dance Event and his not so frequently asked questions...
If you have read our review of his latest artist album you will know that we are very big fans of Leon Bolier here on i:Vibes. He's brought an album that’s a hot contender for one of the best of 2010 and it's sure to push him up the DJ Mag rankings when the results are announced later this month. If not for the quality of music, just for the amount of it, he really jammed in an extreme amount of value spread over the two disc compilation. The production was as good as they come with a broad mixture of Trance and house combined with some truly epic moments that should be rung out well into next year. You can read about how well the album is going in his latest update as well as everything else you need to know about Leon this month below.
‘Phantasma’… FANTASTICA!!
It came, it saw and (with most of the evidence in) it’s done its fair share of conquering! 'Phantasma', Leon’s second double-disc track-attack, has created the proverbial storm portal-side - roaring up all the charts that matter. You can get hold of the autumn's essential long-player by navigating to the seller that suits best (Beatport, Bol & iTunes being just 3 suggestions) and giving yourself the best early Christmas present money can buy. In other related 'Phantasma' news after the release of ‘That Morning’, ‘Dark Star’ & ‘By Your Side’, the next single to spring nimbly from her tracklist will be ‘Saturn’. Leon’s collaboration with W&W has just hit the promo trail and we’ll be back around the end of the month with a Mayhem Report and full release details!

Every year on the penultimate Wednesday of October all eyes swivel towards The Netherlands and even more specifically to the marvelous, magnetic metropolis of Amsterdam… There, for 4 days and 4 hard-rockin' nights the Amsterdam Dance Event goes off like the well-primed rocket with seminars, meetings and most importantly of all parties! Leon will be in the thick of the action spinning at Intuition’s event on Thursday 21st at the very fine confines of the Escape Studio along with Menno de Jong, Marcus Schossow, Nic Chagall and plenty more spinners & spinettes. Full details can be retrieved from the Alda Events site. N.S.F.A.(P).Q.: Not So Frequently Asked (Phantasma) Questions
Robert Jan Aantjes (The Netherlands):
'Why was '2099' released so early? Maybe a later release would have gained attention for the album?'
Leon Sayz: alongside ‘Shimamoto’, ‘2099’ was one of the first tracks to be finished for Phantasma. I wanted to keep the single release pace up there and afterwards I released tracks like ‘That Morning’ and ‘By Your Side’. All the tracks gained the attention we aimed for and built the attention curve up towards the album release! Flashback: Summerlake Outdoor Holland & SaSaZu Prague
Leon: "After visiting a gig of my friend Galen Behr in a city near where I live we partied on long. So it was pretty early for us the next day when we headed off to the Summerlake Festival in Woerden, Holland where Luminosity were hosting the Trance Stage. Set time was pretty early since as I had to play a gig in Prague later on, though the vibe in the Luminosity area already was great. Really enjoyed playing there! Afterwards it was straight to the airport, chilled a bit in our hotel in Prague and off to the Sasazu nightclub where Mr. Richard Durand was playing his ISOS 8 world tour - and where I would play a set as well. We went there early to check out Richard, and of course he smashed it. Afterwards I took over and the enthusiasm of the Czech crowd was overwhelming. I had a great time over and I hope to be back again soon!" The Streamlined Radio Show
