Riva Starr is back on Snatch with a brand new EP under his new alter ego 'Starr Traxx'. His first single drops old school house flavour that ticks all the right boxes. The official video has been released today and certainly raises a smile...
When it comes to house music Riva Starr is an artist to keen an ear out for. Italian born and bread and this past week he has unloaded a brand new alias for Snatch records. Starr Traxx is what he's called it and the first release is coming your way on the 29th November with a few remixes to boot. Bulgarian producer Kink drops in with his interpretation and Pirupa & Pigi put a harder edge on the original. The original looks back to the house sound of decades long since gone. It's a welcome refreshment of classic house sounds, a kicking vocal note and a jacking piano cut. For those who love the old sound of house this will go down a treat.
So will the video he's released for it which takes inspiration from 80's 'actor' Ron Jeremy who features in the video dropping a number of facial expressions that do suit the sequence of the track. If you don’t know who Ron Jeremy is, then this video should drop a clue to what kind of 'acting' he is involved with.
