This months Super 8 & Tab's news has just come in through the post and there are a few things worth noting from it. The winner of their competition to remix the title track from their new album 'Empire' has been announced with Manchester based producer Craig Connelly's mix being the best put forward. Not a name you may have heard of but one if his mix has been chosen by the Super 8 & Tab boys will surly be popping into CD wallets around the world. On the subject of empire, the guys had a huge launch event in Helsinki last month and they have posted up a video from it that’s worth checking out.
Super8 & Tab And Inthemix.com.au Remix Comp Winner Announced!
After debating over a wealth of exciting entries, we can finally announce the winner of the Super8 & Tab 'Empire' remix competition as Manchester based producer Craig Connelly. Citing the likes of Menno De Jong, Above & Beyond, Super8 & Tab, Underworld and Deadmau5 among his influences, Connelly caught our attentions with an inventive remix that added a fresh house-fused groove and new melodic textures to Super8 & Tab's now-classic original. A worthy winner that is sure to be filling the CD wallets of many a-list DJs, Craig Connelly's remix of 'Empire' will be included on the package for Super8 & Tab's next single - 'My Enemy' with Julie Thompson - which will be released through Anjunabeats shortly.
'Empire' Album Launch In Helsinki - Video Online Now
Having given their debut artist album its big European lift-off in London, the last weekend in October saw Miika and Janne do the very same for Finland. You can check the home-city Helsinki crowd reactions as they hear the album's material floor-side for the first time.

US Tour Dates Announced
Next month will see Super8 & Tab take the 'Empire' sound on a pre-Christmas stateside tour. They kick off at Seattle's Last Supper Club before hitting Vision in Chicago the following night. Then after a couple of days recovery it's onto Phoenix and then the big finisher - Above & Beyond's TATW 350 celebrations at Palladium in L.A. If you're within striking distance of any of the gigs, they'd certainly love to see you there! Full date details below.
