© Armada Armin's yearly trance bible is almost ready for you in time to tap your feet to while stuffing the turkey. It's an album that compiles the very best in trance each year and he's just released the tracklist for this year's edition...

If you though John Askew was the only trance artist to ram forty odd tracks into one mix then you must have been hibernating over the past few winters. Each year Armin takes a retrospective look back at the past trance bangers sizzled over the world’s biggest decks in clubs across the globe. Just in time for Christmas to. If there were a record you may have forgotten about from this year you will more than likely get a timely reminder over the course of this two disc compilation.

88 tracks, 3081 edits, 246 channels, 108 hours of studio and 120 minutes of 2010 essentials. The A State of Trance Yearmix, mixed and selected by Armin van Buuren, is done and ready to commemorate another stunning year of trance music.

As a yearly tradition, Armin ends the year with his ASOT Yearmix, a highlight to every trance fan and A State of Trance radioshow listener. Based upon the votes of the listeners, for the ASOT Top 20, you’ll find the complete Top 20 being part of the 88 key tracks on the Yearmix album. December 17th is the day to mark in your calendar, that’s when you’re going to be on one big ride into the sound of 2010 as the A State of Trance Yearmix 2010 is out in stores and downloadportals.

As you can imagine it’s a complex task putting together this mix each year but after a lengthy period in the Armin studio knocking up 3081 edits the year mix is finally finished. As mentioned on the PR you will find all 20 of this year’s biggest trance tunes in here, with the ‘A State Of Trance’ top 20 countdown coming just later this month. What record will take the number one slot? It’s anyone’s guess as you have had the final vote and I’m sure it’s a little more open than the DJ Mag Top 100. It will surely be populated by Armada licensed records though, not stating any fix but just stating the strength the label has in releases this year. Vandit and Perfecto joined the Armada network this year, who will be the next?
