 Tony De Vit's music lives on even after the Hard House icons sad passing away twelve years ago. Lee Haslem has taken one of his all time anthems 'I Don't Care' and gave it a brand new remix...
Tony De Vit was one of the greatest DJ's of his generation and would no doubt still be today if he had not sadly passed away back in 1998. He was one of the pioneers of the Hard House scene and his sets at legendary club Trade go down in history as some of the best ever put together. Lee Haslam is an artist who drew great inspiration from the sound of Tony De Vit as he burst onto on to the scene in 2004 having sold over 40,000 copies of his debut single in the UK alone. He has always been partial to the harder styles of dance music during his career but in recent months shifted his production focus in more trance based surroundings.
What do you get when he has a roam through some of Tony’s old records, a brand new remix of one of his finest ‘I Don’t Care’. It’s a record that tore the sound system within Trade to bits and was one of the records which highlighted Tidy Trax (Now just Tidy) as one of the hard dance labels to keep an eye out for. Lee’s new remix drops some tech trance juice on this pounding hard house classic and is a timely reminder of the pure talent Tony de Vit was. Get checking this one out, it’s been big with Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, John Askew and Christopher Lawrence in recent weeks and had plays on Radio 1 with the Judge.
