 Ferry's countdown to the New Year has begun with a nomination for the International Dance Music Awards this coming March in Miami. His re-released 'Right of Way' album is doing very well and we have all the very latest on the production front...
One of the Dutch godfathers of Trance is reflecting on another year gone by as he warms up for his New Years Eve gig in San Diego. Ferry Corsten is still a major force in the world or trance music with his Flashover Recordings label pumping out the very finest spread across many styles each and every month. They re-release his ‘Right of Way’ artist album a month or so ago with a second disc brimmed with new mixes of his original electro influenced trance tracks. It’s the delayed remix album in essence which seems to be the norm for any artist album these days. I’d expect one for his L.E.F. album to come in the New Year to, but that’s just a guess for now. What is fact is he’s been nominated for an award at next years International Dance Music Awards in Miami for the 2011 Winter music Conference.
INTERNATIONAL DANCE MUSIC AWARDS VOTING HAS BEGUN!
The voting for the annual "International Dance Music Awards" has begun! In 2009 Ferry Corsten was nominated for "Best European DJ" and for the first time Ferry's weekly radio show "Corsten's Countdown" got nominated in the category "Best Radio Mix Show" as well. Let's make this happen again and vote for Ferry in all possible categories such as "Best Trance Track", "Best Global DJ", "Best European DJ", "Best Radio Show Mix" and "Best Podcast".

:: Winter Music Conference Nominees
Voting ends on the 23rd of December and the nominees and the final ballot for the 26th Annual IDMA awards will be announced in January 2011. The winners of the final voting round will be announced at the IDMA awards during the Winter Music Conference, which is taking place from March 8 to March 12 2011 in Miami.

The first remix is done by Rafaël Frost, who got picked as producer of the year 2010 by Ferry Corsten. The second remix comes from the hands of the young and talented producer Juventa.

Recently Ferry Corsten finished a brand new remix for popular Hispanic singer / actor Miguel Bosé. Ferry's remix of the track "Eso No" was premiered in "Corsten's Countdown" episode 177 and is available now!
