You can't begrudge any top flight DJ for a little time off after the New Year. ATB polished the year off with the release of his sixth mixed CD which features two new mixes of upfront trance and progressive doing the rounds for ATB and a special classic mix packed full of old electronic gems. You can pick that up right now and we strongly advise you do as it's a nice warm up for ATB's new album release coming this Spring.
It will be the new ATB artist album and in preparation for it he's in full lock down until April until the music for the album is finished. It will be his seventh artist album to date with his last coming in 2009 with 'Future Memories'. It's a welcome reminder because that was one of the best album's he produced with a refreshing spread of styles and influences right across the album. ATB may well be a firm lover for Trance but as a producer his music palette has a lot more colours to it. The new album should be something very special indeed.
GET YOUR TRACK ON ATB'S NEW ALBUM
It's not just his own music he wants on it though, as he's running a competition to budding producers to have their very own track released along with the album. The rules are quite simple, it must be an electronic production of your own making, no cheesy rip offs or copyrighted samples if you wouldn't mind. The winning track as selected by ATB will be released in co-production by ATB on the new album. The contest has already begun with the final deadline for all entries the 15th January.
