© Leon BoilerIt's a happy new year from Leon Bolier as he gets stuck back into the business of creating some smashing new dance music for 2011, the first of which, 'Elysian Fields' is out right now. News on that and everything else Leon is here...

The first update from Leon dropped into the i:Vibes mailbox this morning. Essential reading for any Leon Bolier fan with news on his latest single, the first since his last artist album release 'Phantasma'. The new single is trademark Bolier with a very haunting atmosphere enriched around his trademark sounds. 'Elysian Fields' is the name and it's making friends with many of the download stores top ten charts already. he also takes a look back at his New Year's Eve gig in Moscow for Gatecrasher and there's a link to his end of year Streamlined show which compiles his favourite tracks from 2010.

Leon Bolier ‘Elysian Fields’ – Out NOW!

With Christmas done, dusted & tucked firmly back into the sock draw for, ooh, at least another six months, Leon’s wasted no time whatsoever in setting his sights on 2011. On December the 28th ‘Elysian Fields’ came out of its corner, punching hard and quickly establishing a WWF-style headlock on the Beatport chart (in at no.6 with a bullet at time of writing!). With club and cable (the internet kind) support from Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sander van Doorn & Judge Jules, its available through Leon’s Streamlined label, via the good people at Spinnin’ now. ‘Tube it here or head Beatport-side for the first essential mp3 of the New Year. Point the arrow that counts… here!

Leon Stars ‘n Stripes Debut: Hollywood Goes Boliwood!

Newsmailer writing can be hard. On occasion though lady luck tosses you a headline coin even I can’t fail to catch! Hollywood - Bollywood - Boliwood! Near limitless variable options!
Cutting to the chase then: Leon will be making his waay long overdue debut in the good ole US of A on January 8th @ Love Music Dance @ Club Circus in the heart of Tinseltown, Hollywood, LA. Cali-citizens (and anyone else in the jet-in vacinity) here’s your opportunity to see Leon tear the roof of the mutha... like no other! Don’t let it pass you by.

Flashback: Gatecrasher Moscow NYE

Braving some legendarily adverse travel conditions (even by Moscow standards) Leon was in the Russian capital to provide a synth-fuelled welcome serenade to 2011. Here’s what he had to say about it: “It was great to celebrate the end of a stunning year and the beginning of hopefully another big year with you guys in Moscow @ Gatecrasher’s NYE at Gaudi Club. Same goes for celebrating it with some of my colleagues there. The vibe was massive, hence Cliff Coenraad and me decided to do a back2back set till the very end of the party... just because we enjoyed the vibe so much. Hope to see you again soon!

Streamlined 2010 Yearmix

2011 is the year that is. 2010 is the year that was, and musically it was a pretty damn hot one. To cap it Leon has whipped together an epic year mix, which you can check now on his Soundcloud page (along with a whole helluva lot of other good musica too). At 3 hours 38 minutes and with one track for every week of the year, it’ll do you from work-start till lunchbreak near enough unbroken. So find some dull work you’ve been putting off, put your headphones on and brighten it up while taking a last fond listen to 2010! Listen, rate & download at the other end of this link.

The Streamlined Radio Show

As our planet Earth tumbles wildly through space (albeit in a ever-dependable geosynchronous orbit around the Sun) it’s reassuring to know that the radio arm of Streamlined is reaching out to every corner of it.

Keeping you up to date with all that’s right in electronic dance music, you can catch this broadcast on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month between the hours of 19.00 and 20.00 CET through ah.fm. Once you’ve listened you can head off to bed safe in the knowledge that everything’s really going to be…alright!
