It's been a while since Woody Van Eyden had a new release but he's back in collaboration with UK based producer Rapid Sense. Just the single track here but its more than enough...
Maybe one of the most underrated talents on the trance circuit is a one Woody Van Eyden. He's been floating around the scene for over two decades and does not really get the coverage across the dance media he should. He is one half of ?HeavensGate with his long time friend Alex M.O.R.P.H. in which they present the very finest electronica fit to be aired each and every week. He also has his very own record label called Fenology, which has had some sensational releases in the past few years. Woody’s own production history spans back to 1989 but his releases in recent years have been sparse. His last single release came with the track ‘B.O.B’ back in 2008 and three years later he returns in collaboration with UU based producer Rapid Sense. Who is Rapid Sense? I don’t actually know if I’m honest but Spinnin Records have him signed up and after hearing this production with Woody it’s not hard to see why.

The Liquid Recordings label is where this little euphoric beauty will be available from and anyone with an appetite for high energy trance with an absorbing main melody will lap this up. The overall production here is buffed right to a shiny sparkle with an aggressive and edge main lead riff and pulsating bass line preparing to feed you in the main breakdown. The layers in the lead are well worked, not to heavy and as the percussion and bass line sizzle down you get a taste of the main riff. Without much time to prepare yourself the sounds fade down and the main melody slams you right in the face. As the drums build the small key changes give the build an uplifting euphoria which keeps on building as the main beat comes and it starts to climb yet again. You always look for a hook line with tracks and the hook in here will have you addicted. Brimmed with energy, pace and flowing like a tidal wave this trance trip will have you pumping your fist in the air.
Conclusion:
You might wonder where the remixes are for this release but to be honest it doesn’t need any, it'll have to be a corker of a remix to top the original. Sound experience with Woody and energetic youth from Rapid Sense combine to deliver a real peak time trance cut not to be missed.
