 Ferry's down under for the first week of February warming up for his appearence at this year's 'Energy' event on the 19th. He's up for a few IDMA's, has just released the lost tapes and has a new Blackberry app for you to have a play with. All that and more in this month's update...
You can now keep up to date with Ferry Corsten 24/7 with his official application originally released on the iPhone now available on the Blackberry. Good timing that Ferry as I've just recently got myself a 'Berry'. He has a lot more things to let you in on this month with a very interesting ID contest, based on a few he's run before on his official forum, he drops 40 tracks in a short clip and you have to ID them all. I can't imagine much trouble with that as Ferry's productions are world renowned. Ferry has also joined the WWF to show his support for their Dutch ‘Pass The Earth’ campaign. He does have a soft side after all, mind you; who doesn’t find Panda’s adorable?

FERRY CORSTEN MEMBER OF THE DUTCH WORLD WILDLIFE FUND WORLDTEAM
On January 13th 2011, the Dutch World Wildlife Fund presented it's new Worldteam to the press. International DJ / producer Ferry Corsten, together with ten other famous Dutch people who are committed to the goals of WWF, joined the Worldteam. Depending on personal interest or professional involvement, the members of the team will support the different goals of the WWF and the overall Dutch campaign 'Pass the Earth'.
Ferry Corsten flies around the world to be able to perform for all his fans. Not only does this give him the opportunity to see all the beauty the different continents have to offer, it also makes him see that beautiful scenery starts to disappear. Corsten wants to pass on the beauty of the Earth to all following generations and therefore agrees wholeheartedly with the objectives of the WWF. He also sees an opportunity in this commitment to compensate for all the miles he makes flying around the world and give something back to nature.

JOIN THE FERRY CORSTEN ID CONTEST
th in 2007 and in 2009 we had a special "Ferry Corsten ID contest" on the official Ferry Corsten forum. Because of the huge success of these contests, we decided to do another one in 2011! And this time we have an amazing prize package with over 20 Ferry Corsten items!!!
So what is this contest exactly all about? We have put a YouTube clip online. In this clip you will hear very short parts of 40 different productions and remixes, all done by Ferry Corsten through the years. Now we want you to ID (identify) all of the tracks correctly! There are some older ones from the 90's, but of course there are also some recent tracks / productions in the clip as well. Some are easy, but some ÂÂ… are pretty difficult! So now you can show how much YOU know about Ferry Corsten's music!

ONCE UPON A NIGHT; THE LOST TAPES - OUT NOW!
2010 was the year of the launch of Ferry Corsten's brand new compilation series "Once Upon A Night". March saw the release of volume 1 and in October, just 7 months later, volume 2 was unleashed upon the world. 2011 starts with a great addition to the series with "Once Upon A Night: The Lost Tapes". A set full of unreleased remixes and alternate versions of the original Once Upon A Night tracks.
"Once Upon A Night: The Lost Tapes" is out now on Premier Recordings and available on all major download portals such as Beatport & iTunes.
