The genre bending beats of Marco V will be heading towards the Energy event later this month, the event previously known as Trance Energy. It is now the event known as ‘The Network’ with a host of varied electronic styles on show not just trance. Marco V’s will be a highlight and no doubt set the stage on fire with his energetic sets. He’s giving away tickets for the event and a chance to meet Marco while enjoying the full VIP treatment. Details on how to enter are right below including other news on his forthcoming guest spot of Perfecto radio and new release on TAO (The Art of), his new record label launched last year.

‘Ego Clash’ provided the mother of musical kiss-offs to 2010, so Marco and Mohawk haven’t wasted a moment in giving it a suitably proportioned follow-up!

‘Passenger’ has been picking up that typical V-sound, cross-party/genre support.

THe ART Of... 2011

TAO’s label arm is gearing up for its first release of the year. In Reaver’s comet-like trail will soon follow ‘Provider’ – a track you’re going to be hearing a whole lot about over the coming months!

For those of you that want ‘in’ extra early, Marco has uploaded a chunk of it to his SoundCloud page (always a good place to go looking for these things) and you can also always swing by his YouTube to listen.

Twitchy, techy, housey (but with a tough-edged appeal), it’ll soon be ripping up the dancefloor tiles. Full release details to follow.

Marco On Planet Perfecto

Early news that Paul Oakenfold’s Planet Perfecto radio show will be playing host to the V-Sound this month. Marco will be spinning a special guest mix for Episode 17 of Oakie’s widely syndicated radio show on Feb 21st. Check back on Marco’s website later this month to catch the full details.

The Classic TopTenMix

In March we will be doing an all time classics Marco V TopTenMix. We want to ask you which Marco V release has to feature in this edition. Tracks must be Marco V productions and you can submit your top tune to marcov@taorecordings.com. We will pick a winner who will receive an autographed TAO compilation.

InCharge, ReCharged

'In A Club (So Make Some Noise)', David Forbes latest under his Sebrof guise, has, of late, been doing much as the title suggests. The follow-up to his download chart-buster ‘Readers Demo’, it does a killer job of threading together quick-fire beats, filtered percussion, looping, chanting vocals, tough drops and spikey synths. The latest InCharge floor-devourer is out on the 21st of Feb but you if you like the sound of that you can check it upfront through the label’s YouTube Channel here.

New North American Tour Announced

Next month Marco will once again heading Stateside for a six-date tour of the States and Canada. The action kicks off in Florida on the 10th at the Sense Supperclub, before falling into pace with the Winter Music Conference in Miami, where he'll be playing a TAO date at Cameo on South Beach. Then he heads inland to Dallas for a night at the (in) famous Lizard Lounge and then jumps north of the border to spin dates in Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary (17th, 18th & 19th). If you live along that route map, Marco cordially invites you out to play!
