© Sied Van RielAll the very latest news from the headquarters of Sied van Riel with his new single 'Mentalism' hitting the Beatport top ten and a teaser for his next release coming in the next few weeks...

You should already have heard the very latest two bangers from Sied if you have been in touch with the latest DJ shows over the past few weeks. His latest single is now nicely situated in the Beatport top ten and his new remix of 'Mirage of Hope' will I'm sure shortly be joining it over the next few weeks. We have news on both of those and a brand new Sied single due out in the next few weeks. Check it out.

Sied van Riel ‘Mentalism’ - Out Now

Blazing a comet-like trail as it entered Earth’s atmosphere, Sied’s latest single has made contact with the dancefloor… and then some! Leaving a crater your average meteorite wouldn’t be ashamed of, Mentalism has struck... and struck hard. Heavily supported by AvB, FC, SvD, JJ, MS & GE (we’ll leave you to sort out who be who from that lot!), its also left a #2-sized dent in the Beatport trance chart too. There’s a superbly trippy accompanying video to check YouTube-side and you can pick up the definite article with a few wise, incisive clicks of your mouse… here.

And In Other Production News…

Of late Sied has been hot on the remix of an old yesteryear favourite of his… His overhaul of Hemstock & Jennings ‘Mirage of Hope’ is out on the 25th of this month, through Liquid Recordings. You can preview it at YouTube, where it’s racking up views faster than you can say “Heh, that 'Mirage of Hope' is rielly racking up those views!” or pick it up here. A little further on the horizon is the new Sied single... What could our Commander-in-Chief, the Rielizer of Dancefloor Dreams tell us about it? “Well it’s a new vocal track - only the second one from me - and it’ll be released this March on Spinnin'. Oh… and it’s called ’Stealing Time and has Nicole McKenna is on songstress duties

If you’ve had your peepers focused on dance internet-land over the last 6 weeks you may very well have seen the word/words @Fly2Miami, here, there and, well, pretty much everywhere! A direct KLM flight from Amsterdam to Miami full of DJs, promoters and other dance industry people was Sied van Riel and wearethenight.com film-maker Wilco Jung’s objective, and stone the crows if they haven’t gwan dunnit!

It started with KLM announcing that they were opening an Amsterdam to Miami sky route at the end of March. Close, but when it came to travelling to the Ultra Music Festival… noooo cigar! Sied and Wilco got on the Twitter and asked KLM if they could start a week earlier. KLM replied with a challenge! Gather 150 ready-to-fly/ready-to-club people within 6 days and KLM would provide them with an AMS to MIA charter. Sied and Wilco pulled it off and on the 21st of March the special Dutch force dance delegation will be taking to the skies. It’s a victory for the common man (or a hoard of party-hungry Dutchies, depending on which way you choose to loot at it!).

@Fly2Miami: Bonus Trivia Edition

You can get the whole televisual story on how Fly2Miami happened by pointing your arrow here, get more info thru the Netherlands party flight's fly2miami.nl website right here and follow them on Twitter as the big day draws closer here. A computer simulation of what the inside of the party flight’s cockpit might look like when taking off from AMS can be viewed hereabouts. If you want to understand the difference between' Wilco' - the WW2 pilot’s term and Wilco, filmmaker extraoridnaire and one of the people behind Fly2Miami, you can click there and everywhere to appreciate those subtle differentials.
