It’s a full lunchbox for you this month with Bobina’s March update. He has a new episode of Bobina TV, essential for any stalker who has had time off hunting Russia biggest trance DJ this month. You still have a few days to enter his latest remix competition for his current single ‘You Belong To Me’ and put your own stamp on it for a potential release on Maelstrom Records. Does ‘Lamento Sentimental’’ mean anything to you? No? Well, it shortly will, as it’s the title for Bobina’s next single which will debut on Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance 2011’ compilation and sit as a preview for the Russians next artist album due later this year.
Bobina's In Trance We Trust Compilation - On Full Release
Bobina’s first ‘In Trance We Trust’ album is out now and ready to add to you compilation collection. Packing out the runtime are bar-raising audio adventures from the likes of Cosmic Gate, Mark Pledger, First State, T.O.M. and Carl B. among many others. ‘You Belong To Me’ Remix Competition On SoundCloud
There’s still time to enter the ‘You Belong To Me’ remix competition. Maelstrom Records and Bobina are on the hunt for A Few Good Producers to deliver remix justice to Dmitry’s latest floor-buster. Here’s what you do... Hit the Maelstrom Facebook page and ‘Like’ the Bobina banner you find there. Download the remix parts and then work them into your own version of ‘You Belong’. Upload it to the designated SoundCloud dropbox and in March the 10 best will be selected and go into a vote-off (or more accurately vote-on!) for the Maelstrom remix release. Don’t waste another minute - get that studio a-cooking!
‘Lamento Sentimental’
Over the next month or so you may well be hearing these words here and thereabouts. Bobina has recorded a new track under the title, which will make its exclusive debut on Armin van Buuren’s ‘ASOT2011’ album. It will also be appearing on Dima’s artist album, later in the year, but if you want in on the ground floor with ‘Lamento Sentimental’, you know where to look for it!
New Single ‘You Belong To Me’ Out Now!
Having racked up a wedge of A-list DJ support, Bobina’s new single -the floor-arresting ‘You Belong To Me’ - is out now! Voted Future Favourite by the A State of Trance listenership last month, it was also no.2 on Corsten’s Countdown in February and has had plenty of TATW love lavished on it from Above & Beyond too. ‘You Belong To Me’ features the inimitable vocals of Betsie Larkin (she of ‘Made of Love’ fame) and alongside Dmitry’s dynamic production, it’s gonna be keeping floors packed tight throughout spring.
Bobina TV 005: The Orange Theme
When it comes to BobinaTV, The Orange Theme can mean one thing only… Holland! Ep 5 sees Dmitry and crew travel into the trance heartland for his video-travelogue, scooping up dance celebrity on-cams as they go. The Amsterdam Dance Event is target number one, where they catch up with Shane 54, Moonbeam, Alex MORPH and a fair few others. Then its south to Rotterdam where they get a guided tour of the port city from its most famous resident… Ferry Corsten.
