© Ad brownAd Brown dials in with his first update of 2011 and there are lots to catch up on with one of the most talented progressive stars on the scene right now. New music galore, read on...

We last caught up with Ad Brown back in November before he set off on a massive tour of Asia for the winter. You can rest assured he did not spend all his time over in the tropical sunshine sipping sombreros and putting his feet up on the sun lounger. Oh now, he's been hard at work with a host of new tracks and remixes which you can check out in this very first update of 2011. You can also still grab his free bootleg of Blue Amazon's 'No Other Love' he released on Silk Royal Records right here.

AD BROWN: PROGRESSIVE WORLDWIDE

With huge remixes already under his belt for Loick Essien (Sony BMG) Lost Witness (Maelstom) and Stan Kolev (Unreleased Digital) not to mention brand new tracks "Marimba" (Perspectives Digital) and "Memorial - You Were Loved" ft Kerry Leva (Enhanced Progressive). As well as working on new remixes and original material, Ad is also proud to feature on the new Silk Royal Showcase compilation; not to mention also signing 2 tracks to be featured on Andy Moors upcoming "Breaking The Silence 2" album, scheduled for release in March.

If ever there was a good time to escape Europe and head to Asia then surely it's during one of the coldest winters on record. No surprise then, Ad headed for a tropical climate, stopping off in Hong Kong, Vietnam (Sail Club) Bali (Deja Vu Club) before rounding the gigs off headlining "Got Cover? presents Ad Brown" (Filter Club); undoubtedly one of Singapore's most up to date and exclusive venues.

REMIXES

Loick Essien "Stuttering" Ad Brown Mix (Sony BMG)
After the huge success of Usher "DJ Got Us Fallin In Love" (Ad Brown Mix) Ad was duly invited back to remix up and coming R&B star "Loick Essien" on his forthcoming single "Stuttering" Release date TBC.

Lost Witness "Fade Away" Ad Brown Mix (Maelstrom)
Lost Witness are responsible for some of the decades biggest club land anthems. Defining an era with classics such as 'Happiness Happening' and 'Red Sun Rising', both entering the top 20 in the UK.

In the best traditions of a Lost Witness track, 'Fade Away' (Ad Brown Remix) combines top-notch production and enchanting vocals to deliver a wonderful end result.

Stan Kolev "Farewell" Ad Brown and Ben Coda Remix (Unreleased Digital)

This huge remix of Stan Kolevs "Farewell" secured the number 1 spot on DJ Downloads Progressive House chart over the Christmas period and remained there for several weeks, fighting of stiff competition from Dave Seaman, Josh Gabriel and Deadmau5.

AD BROWN ORIGINALS

Ad Brown "MARIMBA" inc Chris Dimingo and Urban Breathe remixes - (Perspectives Digital)
Marking his debut release on Perspectives Digital, Ad Brown has delivered another progressive stunner. "Marimba" is deep and moody production with clever use of samples to set the tone and atmosphere. A who's who of DJ support followed after the initial promo mail out and the original mix was quickly snapped up by D:fuse for "Human Frequencies 2" compilation.

Ad Brown ft Kery Leva "MEMORIAL" (You Were Loved) inc Maor Levi remix (Enhanced Progressive)

Ad and Kerry combine forces once again to deliver a beautiful record full of the type of emotion many records simply fail to capture. Maor Levi turns the original into a hotly anticipated club monster, featured on Armin Van Buurens "A State Of Trance" radio show, plus Above and Beyonds "Trance Around The World" on no fewer than 3 separate occasions. The mix also rocketed its way straight into the Beatport Trance Top 10.

IN THE PIPELINE

:: Australia, USA, Dominican Republic and Cyprus gig dates to be announced
:: TATW guest mix in progress
:: Noel Sanger "Zero Discipline" Ad Brown and PROFF mix (Neuva Digital) released in time for Miami WMC
:: Ad Brown "LA" signed to Neuva Digital with Cid Inc and Matt Lange as confirmed remixers
:: Ad Brown "Elevator" and "Singapore Sling" signed to one of Australia's top progressive labels, Indigo Muzik
