He's widely renowned to be the best DJ in Russia at the moment with his highest rank in the DJ Mag Top 100 to date coming in at number 25 in the 2010 poll. With a series of stunning artist albums and singles over the past few years its difficult to argue against that but the Russian scene is thriving with new faces so I’m sure Bobina will have very stiff competition for that statement in the near future. Right then, on with the latest and if you have yet to check out his new vocal single ‘You Belong To Me’ with the harmonics of Betsie Larkin now’s the perfect chance as in the latest edition of ‘Bobina TV’ he takes you behind the scenes at the filming of the video for the single. It’s very much worth a few minutes of your time.

After video-blogging his country-hopping, deck-wrecking travel exploits around the world throughout the first 5 episodes course, part 6 finds Dima firmly back on home turf in Moscow. The occasion is the video shoot for Bobina & Betsie Larkin’s runaway club smash ‘You Belong To Me’ and alongside a cast of not unattractive dancers, skilled directors and some top brass from EMI Russia, you can watch the shoot unfold. Standby for sequins, sunglasses, sexy silhouettes, shot-glasses and Betsie belting out ‘You Belong’!

Global Gathering – Here We Come!

Stretch hard and you can just about feel that first hint of summer creeping in. Once again this year the season will be set off by the colossal Global Gathering events, that’ll resound out around the world. Bobina will once again be lining up to cold rock Russia’s Global in 2011, so here’s some nice early advanced notice for you clubbing desk diary! The 16th of July is the date, St Petersburg is the city and you can be well assured that Bobina will be bringing his (triple) A game to the event.

‘You Belong To Me’ – The Remixes

The Original version has conquered club floors around the world over the last two months, pulling in radio play from pretty much every A-list trance spinner. Now its time for some equally spicy remixes to join the party!

Dutchman Jorn van Deynhoven has done the impossible and managed to get an even greater uplift factor to his revamp, giving his mix skyscraper appeal! Going for a big epic breakdown, DJ Feel broadens the drama of Betsie’s vocals while Proff builds a big, rolling rhythmatic groove around his mix. The revamps are all available now on Beatport and can be found at the other end of this link!

Bobina ‘Lamento Sentimental’

Over the next month or so you may well be hearing these words here and thereabouts. Bobina has recorded a new track under the title, which will make its exclusive debut on Armin van Buuren’s ‘ASOT2011’ album. It will also be appearing on Dima’s artist album, later in the year, but if you want in on the ground floor with ‘Lamento Sentimental’, you know where to look for it!
