High Contrast Presents High Contrast Nights

Under their new High Contrast Nights banner, Holland’s finest are bringing the label’s music one step closer to the people. The H.C. sound is now coming LIVE to clubs, arenas, festivals (and the occasional boat!) near you.

High Contrast Nights showcase the DJ/producers that make up the label’s unique sound panoply. From techno to trance, thru house, progressive and electro (and all waypoints in between), their most respected deck practitioners will bring it. In short: if you like you audio mad, bad, big, dirty or charged, High Contrast Nights are where you can hear it in its highest concentration!

On the 7th of May, the Sonic Festival in Basel will feature an all-star line-up of H.C. heavyweights. Musical madness proponent Marcel Woods, deck’n’mic hero, Ronald van Gelderen and new Swedish threat Jonas Stenberg will collectively tip the northern Swiss town over into critical dance mass.

At the other end of the month it’ll be the turn of the Dutch homelands to get their first taste of High Contrast Nights. Bovenkarspel is the place, the Outdoor Obsession Festival is the venue and forming a (dis)orderly queue to the turntables will be an appropriately all-Dutch strike-force. Marcel Woods, Jochen Miller, Cliff Coenraad, Artento Divini, Russo and Jaap Ligthart will all be present, correct and ready to wreck!

Monday Bar cruises have developed a special place in the Scandinavian clubber’s heart, with music lovers coming from further and further afield to for their now-legendary cruises. The High Contrast contingent will be ship-shape for the next voyage and setting sail for Riga on the 2nd of June will be Rank 1, Jochen Miller, Jonas Stenberg, Cliff Coenraad and Ronald van Gelderen.

More High Contrast Nights are currently being prepped and mapped, with a host of new dates ready to be announced in the early summertime. In the meantime the full spring line-up and details are below!
