Something new from independent trance label Aerian Records with a ferocious uplifting piece of trance from label head Aerian backed up by remixes from Icone and Trance Arts...

In today’s restrictive boundaries of the parent record label its no surprise that a lot of artists are choosing to form their own for the ultimate musical freedom. Aerian is an artist who is going that one stage further in taking on the music scene himself with his tracks exclusively being available only from his own label store. You might say this is restricting his music outlets but we think he’s onto a good idea and with a talent for good trance music his releases should not disappoint. His latest release then has some firepower behind his own production with Icone and Trance Arts dropping their take on his new track ‘Reach’. If this is your first taste of Aerian’s musical flavour, it’s going to leave you wanting more!

:: Exclusively available from Aerian Records on May 17th!

:: Original Mix
:: Trance Arts Remix
:: Icone Remix

You can very much slide this release into the uplifting category and not fail to be impressed by the Original mix’s polished finish. It’s all about the big impacting sounds for this mix with very sharp, thrusting percussion and a fantastic echo effect on the pads leading into the main melody. There is am immensely driving orchestral feel to this, especially with the uplifting melody that’s huge when it kicks off. It’s peaks never seem to end with the euphoria flowing like mad. The chord changes on what seems to be a floating female vocal are outstanding and really add substance to this uplifting banger.

Remix wise, its perfect for a talent like Icone, an artist who has remain on the underground cut of the trance community for many years. He’s also an artist who maybe started off like Aerian with a bundle of talent and knack for a tasty melody but just no main outsource to show it off. His remix here takes a tone off the crisp nature of the original and adds an enchanting different beat pattern leading up. His breakdown is a classical piano lead that feeds in the melody, slightly more uplifting than the original but nothing short of what you would expect from a talent like Icone.

The second remix that we went to check out in this tasty threesome is from a German known as Torsten Nieland who has the chance to flexe his production muscles. He goes by the name of Trance Arts and is another of today’s new trance artists looking to make an impression with his music. He’s done a very fine job with this remix and drops a nice little dub effect on the lead in. The main lead melody drops in the breakdown very nicely with an overall warm, wide open atmosphere as the strings start to come in. The melody is only slightly played around with but for me its the female effect that sweeps in with the backing chords that create the uplifting force here. Although, I don’t think this is as strong as the original or Icone’s mix it’s for sure not a bad effort from this promising new face on the trance scene.

Conclusion:
If you have yet to check out Aerian then this release should be the first to get you going. Quite a superb uplifting trance track backed up by a very good Icone remix and a solid remix from Trance Arts. We like Aerian’s approach and enthusiasm for his music, which going by this, he has a very big talent for. Don’t bother with beatport, DJ Download or ever our own shop for this, it’s only available through Aerian Records and we strongly suggest you check it out!
