You may wonder why Daniel Wanrooy's been a little quite of late. Well, he's currently touching up his brand new artist album and working on new collaborations with vocalist Emma Lock and Eliot John. Oh, and has just signed with Always Management...
It’s all change for Dutchman Daniel Wanrooy this month as he signs with Always Management, the sibling of Twenty4Seven who host the likes of Ferry Corsten, Solarstone and Sied Van Riel. He also gets another track picked for the latest ‘In Search of Sunrise’ compilation from Richard Durrand with ‘Bangalore’ being the sixth track to feature on a compilation in the iconic trance series from Black Hole. If his music has been a little thin on the ground in the past few months don’t worry, he will be unleashing a new artist album later this year with an abundance of new stuff. Read all about that right below.
Daniel Wanrooy signs with Always Management!
This month Daniel is delighted to announce that he has signed to Always Management, home of Cosmic Gate and George Acosta to name a few, the in-partner company of Twenty4Seven (Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Sied van Riel, Solarstone) and Black Hole Recordings (BT, Allure, Robbie Rivera). Henceforth they will be handling all of Daniel’s day-to-day, so if you’ve got Wanrooy business on your mind contact: liamartin@twenty4sevenmanagement.com In Search Of Sunrise 9
This month Daniel Wanrooy has notched up a record equal sixth track on an In Search of Sunrise compilation. Having been featured on Tiësto's In Search Of Sunrise(s) 4, 5 and 6 and Richard Durand's debut for part 8, Daniel’s done it again! The very fittingly titled ‘Bangalore’ has been confirmed on the running order of In Search Of Sunrise 9 - India, which is once again mixed by Durand. Trance trainspotters and chillout room trivia hounds take note: no producer other than Tiësto has managed to produce as many ISOS-worthy compilation tracks!
Brazil and Italy reports
Daniel’s pre-summer touring schedule has been ramping up over the last couple weeks, with gigs in all four corners. Alongside gigs in Greece and Norway, he’s rocked blocks at the Udine festival in Northern Italy, playing one of his trademark melodically/euphorically concocted mix. He’s also dropped into the southern hemisphere to spread the love in Brazil – spinning at the Smirnoff Experience’s gig at Recife. You can check video and photo galleries of the two event through the links below!

Things are fast coming to fruition on Daniel’s new artist album, which is lining up for release for later in 2011. What can we tell you thus far then? Well, he’s been hard at it working on a collaboration with Chris Jones (the voice behind Armin van Buuren and Roger Shah’s monster hit ‘Going Wrong’) and he’ll also be working on a tune with voxstress Emma Lock, a collab with singer Eliot Johns and of course his isos8 highlight Ocean Terrace and Endless Moments are ready to go on the track list, where they’ll certainly be joining ‘Bangalore’. Outside of the album, Daniel just remixed Betsie Larkin's new single, titled (‘All We Have Is Now’) and Daniel has also just released a speaker-smacking remix of George Acosta’s ‘True Love’, together with Mark Green.
