How would today’s trance hits sound if they were to be played in true bossa nova style? Black Hole Recordings decided to put the question to the test and the end result is “Bossa Trancelations”, giving us all the perfect answer.
For this release, professional bands were assigned to fuse sizzling Latin American sounds with 12 famous trance hits. Based on the arrangements of the original tracks, the musicians created an exciting melting pot of styles, which led to unique bossa versions of some of both the best trance classics from the past decade and recent club slammers.
Just think about it: Andain’s “Beautiful Things”, Tiësto featuring BT’s “Love Comes Again”, JES’ “Imagination”, Cosmic Gate featuring Emma Hewitt’s “Not Enough Time” and many more; all transformed into absolute state of the art, Latin American renditions that will definitely spice up your listening experience. Who would have thought that an already heartfelt and soulful track like “Fall To Pieces” by Jonas Steur featuring Jennifer René could be re-done in a way that’s just as touching and intimate sounding as the original, but now in an unmistakable Brazilian rendition? Or “Colour My Eyes” by Mark Norman presents Celine? Listen to this release and you’ll find out. It’s a joy to hear and feel the hot-blooded character and joy of life of South America in “Bossa Trancelations”. Many will bring on the mojitos and invite their friends over for dinner, ‘cause it’s just a perfect soundtrack for a summery get together with your loved ones. With “Bossa Trancelations” Black Hole Recordings shows once and for all that it is perfectly possible to blend modern electronic dance music with the relaxed Latin American spirit!
