It's just the brief update from the Super8 & Tab guys this month but they have been hitting the prime time with their latest track 'My Enemy' popping up on Britains Got Talent last weekend...
When it comes to trance music you don't hear it very much on the mainstream media channels, not unless its another classic, best of or anthem album from the Ministry of Sound. So, if your missus forced you to sit in front of the telly last Saturday night you will have been surprised to hear Super8 & Tab's latest vocal monster 'My Enemy' drop into the background of an Irish 'Shuffler' Alan Ried. His act was shocking but his choice in music was spot on and didn't go unnoticed by the Super8 & Tab guys.
Super8 & Tab Go Prime Time!
Last Saturday night 20 year-old IT guy Alan Reid got his chance to shine on Britain's Got Talent… and took Super8 & Tab along for the ride! Alan's talent was his unique take on the Melbourne Shuffle (which we can almost sense you Googling now!) and he backed his unique and literally dancefloor-devouring moves with Tab and Miika's 'My Enemy'. You can check out how future floor hero Alan went down with the judges (clue: they ad-libbed along to the music with their buzzers!) by clicking here. If you've not yet picked up the Julie Thompson vocalled monster, you can do so right here! Creep 'Days' feat Romy (The XX) [Super8 & Tab Remix]
This month Finland's finest have been on the remix of a different kind of sound. Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard form Brooklyn based duo Creep and together the pair create dark, haunting downtempo music, with influences that range from dubstep to UK bass and house. Miika and Tab have taken their latest 'Days' and built it up into a tough, driven club weapon. The track (which features Romy Madley Croft of XX fame on vocals) is out on multimedia imprint The Young Turks soon and you can check it out here. Super8 & Tab Radio: Edition 005 Out Now!
One hour (and 3 seconds, to be precise!) of radio you have to hear this month, Super Tab / Radio's 5th transmission is online now. Our decktitions are in the presentation hot seats and they've got a whole lot of ballistic audio (from the likes of Above & Beyond, Mat Zo, Andy Moor vs. M.I.K.E., Gareth Emery and Bobina Feat. Betsie Larkin) ready to make your acquaintance! Nudge your mouse here to partake… and make your internet service provider work for his buck!
