© SolarstoneSolarstone drops in with his monthly update and brings news of a mystery edition of his stunning new compilation Electronic Architecture². Just what exactly is it, well that's the mystery...

If you thought you had heard all that there was to hear with Solarstone’s latest compilation Electronic Architecture then think again. He’s not quite done with it yet as later on next month he will be releasing a ‘Mystery’ edition of this superb album. What will be in? I honestly don’t have a clue but as its from Solarstone it will be dam right essential to have in the collection. You can read up a little on the announcement below and the other Solarstone goings on this month below.

Solarstone Remix Storm Rising!

Over the last couple of months Solarstone has been re-engaging the remix side of his brain… and how! First off the blocks has been his Deep n' Throbbing remake of Mory Kante's immortal 'Yeke Yeke'. DJ Magazine gave it 9/10 and have said that "Solarstone's mix builds and builds to vertigo-inducing levels" and was, in a word, "massive"!

Next up will be Allure's (Tijs Verwest/Tiesto) new track 'Show Me The Way', for which Rich has delivered a classic Solarstone Club Mix. After the success of his Smashing Atoms remix turn on his own 'Big Wheel' track last month, he's added a rapaciously uplifting one of those to the JES vocalled floor-stormer too! That's out on May 30th, as is his equally large rework of the Aly & Fila produced, Sue McLaren sung 'Still'.

Finally Solarstone has just completed remix work on a forthcoming single from the biggest 80s comeback story of the decade - more info to follow on that very shortly!" Make sure to also check out Solarstone's new compilation " Electronic Architecture 2 " for Rich's reconstruction work of Hybrid's Numb.

EA² - The Mystery Edition!

When he first presented the follow up to Electronic Architecture, Solarstone promised that in every aspect the Squared edition would be "an evolution".
EA² has already seen Richard commission the world's first 'open-source' album cover, allowing fans to create their own bespoke version of its extraordinary cover image.

At the end of July he will unveil a stunning final massive chapter in the genesis of EA². Let the rumour mill turn - it's time to start watching the skies!

EA² Takes MIXMAG's Album of the Month

Clubbers and music lovers bible MIXMAG have made Electronic Architecture² their Album of the Month. They say the album is a "perfectly crafted international journey across (electronic dance music's) sub-genres" and that it "captures the essence of what we all love about trance".
We couldn't have put it better ourselves (nor would we try!!).

Solarstone - Big Wheel - Out Now

'Big Wheel' - Solarstone's first freshly squeezed material post the 'Touchstone' album - is out now. Giving it 8.5/10, DJ Mag says it's "mesmeric", has a "fairground-like quality to it" and that the "Solarstone's Smashing Atoms Remix is a floor-proofed club port, which tweaks and cranks every production part as high as it'll go". MIXMAG meanwhile says that "the true revelation is Solarstone's rapturous Smashing Atoms revamp, which swings at the peak-time dancefloor and knocks it clean out the park." Praise indeed!

:: Availble from the i:Vibes store!
