The new music from Richard Durand keeps on coming with another new single this month on Magik Muzik. He's chosen another vocal cut from his last artist album 'Wide Awake' and as the title of it implies, it may well make you 'Explode'. Not just new singles, you may have got your hands on Richards’s brand new In Search of Sunrise compilation this past week. India is the backdrop for the latest in this very prestigious compilation from Black Hole Recordings. It may have been born from India but over the next few months he will be taking it all over the globe so check out his forthcoming gigs to see where he’s playing near you.

New Single: Richard Durand feat Kash – Explode

'Explode' by name and explode by nature! That's precisely just what the latest track to be taken from Richard's 'Wide Awake' album has done… Featuring the atypical top-line stylings of London-based vocal gymnast (!) Kash, Richard's boundary-pusher has been stirring it up floor-side over the last six weeks. In their June issue review, DJ Mag called it "quirky", said it was "catchy and memorable" and was "an audacious sign-off to the 'Wide Awake' album's singles". Accompanying Richard's mighty club mix on the release are vocal and dub mixes from George Acosta (putting a tougher, tech-trance spin to it) and Jacob Plant who gives it a dubstep treatment. 'Explode' is available now thru Beatport.

A Word From The Gallery, Hosts Of The 'ISOS09 – India' Launch

Richard will be giving the ninth installment of In Search of Sunrise its official launch towards the end of this month at The Gallery, Ministry of Sound. The club have got some very special plans up their sleeve for it. Here's the word direct from them! "We host Richard Durand's launch of his new ISOS 9 compilation, on Fri 24th June. Get your pre-party tickets here. With a 9pm start, everyone gets to meet Richard himself and receive a signed ISOS 9 poster. In addition, the FIRST 50 bag themselves a shiny new album copy, plus club entry after, all for £10. We must be mad…"

Ibiza All The Way!

It's great, its white and its sits in the middle of the Med! Nope, not a shark (though you probably guessed that!), we're talking about Ibiza, Baby and it's where Richard will be spending a (in)decently sized chuck of gig time this summer! It all starts this coming Friday with an early return to his regular stomping ground of Eden. The 19th will see him at Judgement Sundays, no doubt summoning a storm for the San An faithful. Then, on the 20th of next month, it's Godskitchen for their bound-be-massive Boombox event at Privilege. Completing a hat-trick of UK club brands rocking the Balearics he's back in the same spot for Gatecrasher Ibiza on the 3rd of August. With another Judgement Sunday book-ending his Ibiza maneuvers on the 21st of August, it's promising to be just as bigger Balearic season as ever! Get down yer travel agent now!

Richard's Global Gathering Festival Residency

Richard will be playing at 3 (count 'em!) massive Global Gathering events over the course of the coming summer. On the 9th of July he'll be doing the decks summary justice in the Ukraine at their event in Kiev. From there the action moves to St Petersburg in Russia on the 16th and then concludes at the festival organizers' spiritual home of Stratford on Avon for Global Gathering UK on the 30th.
