Oh, I forgot to mention there is something else to get excited about regarding Roger Shah this summer with the new he will be releasing a brand new artist album. The title may give a few clues to what to expect with the new album. We may see a new sound from what we usually expect from the chilled strings and gorgeous melodies surrounded by an immense balearic backdrop. We can't wait to hear what the creative mind of Roger Shah has come up with for what could well be a defining new artist album. Read up a little on that as well as all the very latest right below.

Roger In Ibiza, Summer 2011
This August will see Roger Shah bring his music for Balearic people back to the White Isle heartland! He's become one of Gatecrasher's summer residents and will be soundtracking the island's warmest month with the very hottest audio and the most electrifying live performances!

Jetting in every Wednesday, he will be spinning alongside the likes of Oakey, Marco V, Dash Berlin and and array of other DJs. Privilege will boom and Privilege pound to the Shah sound %u2013 it's not something you're going to want to miss! Get booking those flights now- the dates to keep front & centre are the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st of August.

Roger Shah & Moya Brennan 'Morning Star' Video
Known to millions as the voice behind Chicane's anthemic 'Saltwater', Roger originally contacted Moya after being blown away by one of her live classical concert. The resulting collaboration is the extraordinary 'Morning Star' - a track that DJ Mag has already called "a coup" and Mixmag summed up as "perfectly grafting the Celtic twang of the uilleann pipes to Shah's regulation gauzy Med-head synths". Morning Star is out now and you can pick it up from Beatport, iTunes or the Armada Music shop. It's stunning video has also just gone online. Featuring an incredible array of Arthurian charaters (of both the two and four legged variety!) its captures perfectly the track's epic feel. Check it here.

Roger Shah: Openminded!? Album Announced
With his new artist album, Roger Shah is going to pose an important question: are you Openminded!? Following his two DJ Shah albums and three long-players under his synonymous Sunlounger alias, Openminded!? will represent the first track collection from Roger under his own name. Lining up an all-star vocal cast from the EDM world and beyond, including Sian Kosheen and Moya Brennan, 'Openminded!?' is about to reveal a completely different side of the Shah sound. As its title subtly suggests, this album is something of a departure from the 'endless summer' style of Balearic trance that Roger has been renowned for to-date.
