© Sied Van RielIt's time for your monthly catch up with Sied Van Riel who will be unleashing his own brand of 'Realism' on the road over the next few weeks and polishing off his forthcoming new artist album due just before autumn...

We know he can mix as his last compilation release proved in 'Realism', and I'm sure by now you all know he can definitely produce. All that’s missing is an artist album to his musical CV which is not that far away as he lets slip in this months news update. With summer very much stamping its authority with some welcome sunshine all over Europe Sied will be doing just the same as he is jetting all over the place this July before popping over the pond to deliver the US scene a dose of ‘Rielism’. Ahead of his new album he’s got a few new singles on the burner, details of which you can read and hear about right below.

Rielism’ Rolls Out!

It's what all you Rielists out there have been asking/waiting for! 'Rielism' - Sied's new mix-pedition – gives you the essential 2011 CD/DD Van Riel club 'takeaway'. Packing 29 tracks into its runtime, it features all the cross-the-board platters that are going to matter this summer. Included among them are the latest speaker-freakers from Allure (Tiësto), BT, Richard Durand, Ronski Speed and Arty as well as up 'n' comer gear from Re-Zone, Zack Roth and Danny Chen. Sied's 2011 track-attacks are also on there, including his Beatport chart-breakers 'Telephone Junkies', 'Stealing Time' and 'Lights Off' (his new collab with Claudia Cazacu). Money, tickets, passport & 'Rielism' all packed? Good! You're ready to go on holiday then!

Dear Martha, How Can I Bring Rielism Into My Life?

Short answer: right there, right now, Baby! You can pick up the CD life -affirming album from our friends at Fine Night, who will speed it to your home address (just as quickly as your local postal system allows anyway!). Download versions of the album are also available from iTunes, Beatport and Trackitdown; to take you there, just click the respective link. For sartorial summer style, Fine Night are also carrying a new range of Sied van Riel clothing and accessories (including t-shirts and lanyards), which you can check out at the other end of this link.

When Singles… Attack!

Peace, calm, tranquility and silence? All gone out the window! Sied has two new high calibre tracks ready to rawk!! First to the DL stores will be Sied van Riel ft Fenja’s The Game, which features the honeyed tones of U.S. voxstress Jaren. Debuted by Armin on ASOT512, the piano-tinged Ibizan mood-setter is already taxiing for its release on Reset. Following along behind it will be Sied in solo mode on ‘Bubble Blower’. Again already given radio love by Armin, you can check both tracks out for yourself at www.youtube.com/siedvanriel. Extra, Extra! Sied has also produced a track called ‘The Offering’ for Betsie Larkin’s debut album, which will see the light of day “sometime in Q3, 2011” (according to Sied’s Business Manager) via Flashover Recordings/Black Hole.

The Riel World Tour

Of late Sied’s been preaching the Rielism gospel from the DJ pulpit in all four corners of the globe. The Rielism tour reached Australian shores last month with Sied playing his first headline dates in the country, before springboarding over to Zouk, Singapore to knock it out the park for 5000+ KL nutters. Miami, SanFran and NYC have also got some and on the 12th of next month he’ll be making his debut in Washington DC at celeb haunt, the Shadow Lounge. Back Europe-side he’s sent to pound Boom in Belgium for Pleasure Island in the Czech Republic and with no less than six (6) dates on the White Isle this month (playing Full On Ferry: Ibiza, including a b2b set with the man himself), it is all looking very, very, VERY busy indeed!
