Fans of sophisticated electronic beats rejoice! Three powerhouse dance labels are joining forces for an official Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) showcase aboard the Pure-liner party boat.
Dutch labels Bla Bla Records and Remote Area are joined by Alchemy, coming to ADE from Italy. The first time the three labels have worked together on an event, it will be ‘like a trip into a different dimension,’ promises Alchemy label head Mauro Picotto. Taking place on Saturday October 22nd, the last official day of ADE, the showcase is the perfect way to bid a fond farewell to one of the music industries most important and exciting yearly events. The line-up is stellar: Mauro Picotto; Remote Area’s 2000 and One and Bla Bla label owner Daniel Sanchez. Mulder (live) also join from the Bla Bla imprint alongside El Mundo & Satori and Bas Amro.
Mauro Picotto is fresh from organising the first Alchemy Music Festival and the release of new album TwentyEleven. He is rumoured to be dropping some brand new productions for ADE – reason in itself to be in attendance. Remote Area’s 2000 and One, has been a consistent and vital figure in the electronic scene since the 1980s. Defined by both his vision and versatility, he integrates seamlessly in the tech, house and tech-house scenes. Bla Bla label owner and techno ‘bad boy’ Daniel Sanchez is a key figure in Amsterdam’s minimal and techno scene. He brings with him some of his label’s hottest talent, proving that Bla Bla Records remains a crucial imprint to watch.
The night is hosted by Dutch dance consultancy Interlab Music. They are returning to ADE with the Pure-liner party boat for a second year to show off their innovative Interlab Sessions showcase format. The Pure-liner is a cruising event venue built in the 1930s. Today it has been completely overhauled, refurbished and re-imagined as a sleek party vessel that accommodates 600 revellers. As an official ADE venue it is part of the leading electronic music conference and the world's biggest club festival for electronic music.
