The electronic icon that is Moby is not quite finished with his last artist album 'Destroyed' as later this month he's expanding it into a special edition three disc album with exclusive new tracks and a DVD...
You never know what to expect with a new Moby album. His last three have been very different with the club inspired 'Last Night' and down tempo 'Wait For Me' behind two worlds apart in moods. they both had that familiar Moby production sound and quality though and I'm sure he is one of the only artists on the planet who can make the most dressing production strangely appealing. The last Moby album ‘Destroyed’ was born out of insomnia and motel rooms. It was a beautiful album crafted by one of the worlds most talented electronic icons today. Well, thankfully he’s not just pushing out a remix edition, even though a few tracks of his from the album have had the likes of Paul van Dyk push a remix out, the next step for Destroyed is a three disc special edition.
The first discs is the album in its entirety but with the second discs he’s flung in more exclusive productions with what really is in effect another album’s worth of Moby goodness. Add onto that a DVD rammed with exclusive music videos, interviews, video footage and behind the scenes look at just what goes into making a Moby video and this ‘deluxe’ edition of ‘Destroyed’ is a real essential, not just for the Moby die hard fan.
