 The man who began his career by winning a DJ competition is putting on one of his very own offering the chance for you to join him for a set at Space in Ibiza next year...
With so many people out there looking to be the next big DJ on the electronic scene it might seem impossible to get yourself noticed. Well, James Zabiela was once an unknown bedroom DJ looking to breakout into the open which he did by winning A DJ competition quite a few years ago. He's become one of the most respected and talented deck technicians of his time and does things with CDJ's Pioneer never though possible. He’s looking for a bright new DJ to stand up and impress him by launching his very own DJ competition with the pinnacle being a DJ set with James at Space next summer in Ibiza for We Love… Read on for all the information on how to get stuck into this.

HOW TO ENTER
:: Full entry information pack and artwork here!
STAGE ONE - ONLINE SUBMISSION
Entrants will be required to upload a 20 minute mix, showcasing their talents to their Mixcloud account.
You must upload with the competition artwork found in your information pack and include the tag 'James Zabiela & Tid:Pro DJ Skills Competition'
Include another tag of either 'Amsterdam' or 'London' to show which heat you are interested in being selected for.
The heats will be held at:
:: Air - Amsterdam - Saturday 22nd October
:: East Village - London - Wednesday 30th November
The Amsterdam Submission closing date is Midnight 16th October 2011
The London Submission closing date is Midnight 20th November 2011
Publish your mix and share with your friends via social networks to get feedback.
Bonus points will be awarded to anyone including their own productions in the mix.
Within 48hrs of the submission close date for each heat, winners will receive a message to invite them to attend the heat stage.
STAGE TWO - THE HEATS
If you are lucky enough to be selected to attend heat stages you will need to perform a 10 minute set displaying your talents to our judges in a live club environment.
James is looking for someone who is able to use and abuse the technology available to todays DJ to mash up the mix.
THE FINAL
Winners selected from each heat will go on to the final hosted by The Warehouse Project - Manchester in December.
James Zabiela himself will be judging finalists on a 20 minute set and is looking for the highest standard to perform at We love at Space in Ibiza summer 2012, graced this summer by acts like James Zabiela, Aphex Twin, Fatboy Slim, 2manydjs & Groove Armada.
