The event that replaced the legendary 'Trance Energy' last year is back for its second edition next March with tickets on sale right now. No line-up released as yet though...
For years it was the biggest Trance event in the world and has hosted many legendary sets from Tiesto, Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren. With electronic genres merging into others the organisers ID&T felt it necessary to expand the musical scope of trance energy to not just trance. The result was the re-named ‘Energy – The Network’ event launched last year to replace Trance Energy. The event was still rich with trance artists but as more venture outside the boundaries to incorporate many other styles the re-branding made sense in a way. It is now a fully blown electronic event with a whole host of styles on offer. It’s a shame for the hardcore trance fans, but the genre is always in safe hands with a healthy injection of new producers popping up on the scene.
The second edition of the ‘Energy’ will be held in the familiar surroundings at Jaarbeurs, Utrecht in Holland on the 3rd March with tickets now on sale.
