© metropolitanIt started with a rumour circulating around the Dutch dance scene that the second edition of Metropolitan, devoted entirely to The Future Sound of Egypt was coming. The rumour immediately sparked reactions from several European countries, whether it was true or not. At the time PT Events, the Metropolitan organisers were unable to confirm but meanwhile, the news continued to spread throughout Europe. The Future Sound of Egypt is coming on Saturday 19 November, 2011 to the Metropolitan party at the Crystal Venue!

The first edition of Metropolitan was a great success! Reactions from both the audience and artists warranted the ultimate decision for this new concept to deliver a follow up. The Future Sound of Egypt label tour is again a great win for PT Events, following their success with the 'John O'Callaghan Subculture Tour' (2010) and dual organisation of the 'In Search Of Sunrise' world tour with Richard Durand (2010/2011) proving their world-wide standing. And even with this event, it's evidence that PT continues attracting the world's best artists and their labels to The Netherlands.

The Cast!

It goes without saying that the biggest label favourites will take to the stage in Culemborg. And obviously, the label owners ALY&FILA will be the headline act of the evening. In September, the Egyptians celebrated their 200th FSOE broadcast, the world-renowned radio show now heard weekly on numerous Internet stations. The broadcast of the worldwide livestream was well received by all fans who were unable to fly to Egypt. So, for all Europeans, there's even more reason to experience the entire FSOE label crew acting and working together with PT Events in Culemborg(NL).
Another favourite of the label is Philippe el Sisi, also from the land of the pyramids and the purveyor of ultimate, emotional and uplifting trance releases. Most trance lovers will be familiar with Philippe. He is perhaps one of the best uplifting trance producers in the world and the sound he represents in the DJ booth will also be heard when the FSOE label tour is showcasing quality in The Netherlands.
The Scandinavian hero Björn Akesson will also join the label tour. His releases and remixes for 'The Future Sound of Egypt' cannot be beaten and are enormously popular worldwide. Where the success started with an amazing mix of Aly&Fila's 'Lost Language', he recently remixed 'Ramazing' by RAM and collaborated with Sean Tyas. The end is still nowhere in sight for this young but very talented, Swedish DJ / producer.
The Dutch contribution to this Egyptian party comes from artists Sied van Riel and of course, Metropolitan's resident DJ RAM! Sied van Riel, once tipped by Tiësto as "hottest producer around", and currently scoring hit after hit with his recognisable Riel Sound (For Riel People). His most recent compilation album 'Rielism' (Black Hole Recordings) is again a gem in the market and seen his worldwide popularity rise even higher.
After his successful releases 'Ramsterdam' and 'Ramazing', RAM's spent most of his time in the studio and his new single 'Ramplify' is now ready for release. Both his remixes and the compilation that he released on Spinning Records 'Grotesque Spring Essentials' were well received.
All the ingredients will be there again for fans from across the whole of Europe to the Dutch city of Culemborg. “Metropolitan will truly become a household name. With the cooperation of major labels such as Future Sound Of Egypt, we can put this concept on the map." says the organisers of PT Events.
Tickets priced € 22.50 are now available to buy on the Crystal Venue website.
